QuestionInsurance : We are booking Grand Asia and World with HAL Some Insurance Companies allow you to enter in the country of destination which affects price. Does anyone know which are the best price example: On a Grand Med. Italy $ 2600. Gambia $ 1295 So it does pay to research countries

Just booked a trip on the Eurodam for February and since I will be flying from the northeast considering buying insurance in case of weather delays. Can I buy the HAL premium insurance even though I booked through a TA?

Question - We are flying Alaska, using "the Port Valet service". Will I still have to pay the $25. checked bag fee - if the service reads from ship to arrival baggage claim" free. ???

Hate the idea of lack of Grand Cruises, we have found that the shorter cruises just are not as nice. We love the extras of Craft, Art, Photo & Knitting classes.

Wonder why the don't do Grand Cruise FLL to Lisbon the north to Baltics for 55 to 60 days and back to FLL or New York?

I was also told by the World Cruise desk at HAL, NO GRAND MED AFTER 2018.:loudcry:

Thanks for posting the G. S.A. ports. We are sure ging to miss the G. Med. We are booked on the rand Med 2018 and was planning on booking the 2019 while onboard the "17". Looks like we will have to sail with another Line.

Question about future Grand Med. Prinsendam? I was told by a Holland agent that the 2018 G. Med. will be the last - that they are not planning on continuing the Grand Med. Has anyone else heard this? I really hope I was just given false information.

Just talked with Holland Am. World Cruise Dept. still no official word on Grand Asia. They did not have any info on the photo from post #6. We booked it late Jan. while on the Grand South Am.2016. See everybody Oct. 1, 2017
