  1. Try the Legendario Elixir 7 Años ( very appreciated by the females) or the Ritual Cubano.

Also the Caney 7 años is a good Rum.

Havana Club is just a commercial brand...and is ok to prepare cocktails.

The only one which is worth to buy to drink it alone...is the Selecion Maestro.

  2. We recently went on a Norwegian cruise that stopped in Havana for 8 hours. I wanted to make the most of our time there so I decided to book a vintage car tour. After contacting different companies with good reviews on Tripadvisor we ended up booking with Havanacar.net.

I was very pleased at how quick and polite Stefano responded to my inquiry. He was very patient with me in figuring out the best tour for my family and I because we were a large group of 8. We had 2 cars, one top car and one convertible, for 6 hours. We had no problem finding our driver because they were right across the street from the cruise terminal. Our drivers and tour guide were prompt, super courteous and took us to many wonderful sites in Havana. Two members of our party could not walk very long distances so we opted out of the walking portion of the tour and chose to have the cars take us around all day. We stopped at a breathtaking Mosaic museum, the tallest point in Havana, Revolutionary Square, and a lovely home restaurant. My only regret is that I couldn't stay longer to see more of this beautiful city through the eyes of these wonderful people. I would definitely recommend booking Havanacar whether you have a short stop in Cuba or a more lengthy stay.

  3. We were in Havana for only one day and decided to do the 3 hr walking tour and 3 hr drive around the city.

I am a very picky person and from the moment I started emailing with Stefano, the general manager at havanacar.com, he put me at ease, which is difficult to do when you’re setting up a financial transaction in a different country. He arranged for us to have a driver and a tour guide for a car tour around the city - they were waiting for us as we got off of our cruise ship.

Hugo, our walking tour guide was incredible, highly intelligent and knowledgeable. He gave us a history lesson along with fun trivia. Omar our driver had a great sense of humor and was an excellent driver. We could not have asked for any better treatment.

If we are so lucky to be able to travel to Cuba again, and hopefully stay a few days, we would definitely book Havanacar again.

    Thank you

I have been trying to access their website but it keeps saying it doesn't exist.

    Is it http://www.havanacar.com?
