I am impressed by the speed of replies. My "newbie" (at least to Cruise Critic) take away is shop TA's and 5% OBC (gift Credit from TA) is on lower end of spectrum and probably too low. I also noted that this % is based on price before tax and fees. Thanks to all for replies. And it seems all have obeyed rule of not mentioning specific TA's.

Considering March 10, 2019 Singapore to Rome or Southampton. Would appreciate feedback on itinerary/excursions. There appears to be a large number of "sea" days which would appeal to us as well.

We cruised on the Caribbean Princess in April 2017. This was our second trip onboard this vessel. It had just been refurbished in Freeport,Bahamas. It is a very beautiful "large" ship. The theater is especially suited for "production" performances. I cannot recommend this ship as anything but excellent. If your cruise is in the Mediterranean, I envy you and your first timer even more.

Interesting replies. My question is what is an adequate OBC from a TA for say a 21-25 day booking?

Do TA's offset prices offered with OBC's (gifts) for net incentive being unchanged?

Has anyone compared online TA's for OBC's for same booking and found one TA very superior to another? Thanks
