Thank you
Silver Sands looks awesome but I don't see any chairs or anything on the beach. What am I missing?
Also, What do you think about Blue Waters?
-
Thank you, but actually I don't see that information on their website
I emailed them and waiting for their reply
Thanks!

Do you think that arriving to Isla Pasion independently is a good idea?
Do they sell entry tickets if I just arrive? And what would be the price for an all inclusive deal if I just arrive with a taxi?
Will I be limited in time?
I wish they'd answer the phone, but they never do
-
I read that all excursions are for beach time of 3.5 hours or so.
However, we're looking for something longer, around 4.5-5 hours
Do you guys know anyone who sells such excursion?
Thank you
-
Thank you for clarifying
Will also be happy to hear from someone who's been to both and can say what was better for them :)

Thank you
According to that video it seems like a few things might bother me. Please tell me if I'm wrong:
1. The water has a lot of rocks and vegetation, which makes it less fun to walk in
2. The water are quite dark and aren't as turquoise as in Isla Pasion
Am I wrong?
Thank you

We're going this September and looking for a nice, relaxing but BEAUTIFUL beach.
I see Isla Pasion might be the answer and it looks gorgeous, but Nachi Cocom as well.
Which one you think is better?
Thank you

We're going this September.
Does anyone know the current state of the seaweed on Isla Pasion?
Thank you

I know there's a bus from Falmouth which is quite cheap, but where does it drop you off in Montego Bay , and how do you get to the Sandals resort from there?
Is grabbing a taxi in the street safe?
-
I'll be going on the Harmony of the Seas and stopping at Falmouth this September.
I'm trying to find a nice beach that will be close to Falmouth and will be easy to get to using a taxi (do you recommend doing that)?
Do you have any recommendations?
Thank you

Do you guys have some tips about this?
What did you end up doing?
I also consider going to blue water by taxi, but I'll still have to pay enterance fee, won't I?
-
Thank you!
Hlitner, I'm not sure I understand - I'm not a US citizen, can I just buy a sim card on T-Mobile as a tourist and it should work everywhere?
If so, how is it different than Mobal.com?
Also, is there any chance that it will also work on the sea at some of the times?
-
I'm going on a cruise to the carribeans on 3 different countries (Jamaica, Haiti and Mexico).
I'll be leaving from Florida, USA.
I wonder if there's a way to buy a sim card that can work on all 3 countries, or at least some of them?
Thank you

I'm going to Labedee, Falmouth and Cozumel on September.
Should I be getting any vaccinations?
What about the Zika virus?
Thanks
-
We won't go back there, there's far better beaches on Cozumel.
Please elaborate

There were people who were put in very bad situations last year. The flights and or the cruise line had not cancelled, yet the forecasters were telling people near port to evacuate or issued severe weather alerts. Many passengers suspected that the cruise lines were hoping passengers would cancel so they didn't have to compensate.
You have to consider the cost of a cruise and the cost of insurance. It may not be worth it for a very inexpensive cruise.
We always get travel insurance for cruises longer than a week.
Sounds like no insurance would cover such case.
If the cruise still goes as planned and they "have the option" to go on the cruise, the insurance wouldn't help anyway..
Not sure what kind of scenario I should ask my insurance to cover then, it sounds like there are a lot of different scenarios and they don't go under one category
-
I'm not a US citizen and I prefer to do it using an insurance company on my country.
I just want to know what scenarios should I worry about and search for covers about them

I booked a cruise to the caribbeans on September, and I'm aware of the hurricanes risks.
I read that it's recommended to buy an insurance for that, but I've been told by my insurance company that they don't cover weather disasters!
But I'm wondering - what do I actually need to cover?
If the cruise gets cancelled - the cruise line refunds the money.
If the cruise gets delayed - I MIGHT miss my flight, but I took 2 days post-cruise just in case anyway.
What other scenario should I be worry about, and what kind of an insurance cover should I look for?
-
This is the first time I booked a cruise. I was excited to see the beautiful beaches of the caribbeans, but after booking the cruise I found out that many beaches costs a lot of extra money!
Before I go bananas, can you help me understand if I'll be able to have the great caribbean expereince with a short walk/taxi without paying so much to enjoy the beach?
My ports of call are - Labedee, Falmouth and Cozumel
Thank you
-
Didn't know that. Sorry

I want to book a cruise on the Harmony this year. Anyone knows a good agency that can offer good prices or perks?
Thank you
-
Thank you
Though I really want the better beaches, it sounds like it'll be riskier on the East, and the west still have nice beaches, so I'll go with west (south is not an option)
Thank you :)
-
What time of year?
I thought I mentioned it - late August, beginning of September
-
And how about the hurricanes at the east during that time? Isn't it riskier than the west?
What can happen if a hurricane develops there, will we divert to the west? Or just miss ports while staying at the sea?
Beautiful beaches around Falmouth?
in Jamaica

Have you been to both? Which one would you recommend?
We're looking for something with less kids, beautiful beach, lounges, drinks and food
Sounds like both have that? Which one would you recommend?
Thanks
