Hello. My husband and I were in Cozumel on December 26th. We hired a driver, Leo, through Tours Plaza. We could not have been more happy! He was waiting there at the port with my name on a sign which I got a kick out of because I've never hired a driver before LOL. He took us wherever we wanted to go and made suggestions on the order of things. If I'm out there again I will use Tourd Plaza and ask for Leo. 🙂

On the tour's you get off at the island and walk to a boat that takes you out to the reef to snorkel. So if you are doing all of this on your own and you get to the island how do you get a boat to go snorkeling if that's what you want to do?

Thank you so much for your response. I appreciate it. It's looking more and more like going to Bruges is better although I'm going all the way out there and not seeing Brussels seems like a shame but Bruges seems like less of a hassle. 😊

We have one day at the port. I know it is some distance to get from the port to Bruges. Has anyone gone straight to Brussels and found that it was worth it in the time allowed?

Most cruise ships have banned smoking in the rooms and balconies. I only cruise on these ships. If I smell cigarette smoke or see someone smoking on a balcony I report them right away.
