Overnighted there on the Miracle in March of this year. Casino/shops closed but it is a GREAT opportunity to do Rhythm of the Nights, make sure to consider this excursion.
Boat's open all night long - come and go as you please.
Ok, thanks and thank you for the recommendation.
Thanks again,
Candi

I have yet to see it docked overnight there...but I know it is on the agenda to do it....The Casino only can open in International Waters as far I know.....so the soft answer is no
But if I am Wrong I am sure others will post
Thanks to both of you for your replies. I guess I was just assuming that it would stay docked overnight since we are going to be there for 2 days, maybe it will go out to sea for the night and then dock again the next day. Either way I am fine with it, just curious.
Thanks again,
Candi

Does anyone know if the casino and shops will be open when we are docked overnight in Puerto Vallarta?
Thanks,

Not sure about Australia, but in the US I do find it easier to book directly with RCCL because you can do everything yourself and not rely on someone else.

Thanks everyone for your responses. No, no one will be able to take his place. So I am assuming the easiest thing to do would just go and let them know at the port that he will not be cruising.

Hi I know this question has been answered several times, but the search is not working. I have a person that will not be able to go on the cruise with us in 2 weeks, would it be better to take him off the reservation now or just tell them when we get to the port that he will not be showing up. Also he his booked in a room with my 19 year old son, but they are in a connecting room with my 22 year old daughter, so age shouldn't be an issue. I know I will loose his cruise fare, but do they credit the room the taxes and port fees?
Thanks,
Candi

Thank you both for the suggestions, I will look into both. Thanks again.

Yes. You should be fine. How are you getting back to the airport?
Not sure, there will be 6 of us, so either a couple taxis or a shuttle. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks

I was wondering if an 11:55 flight time in out of Orlando from Port Canaveral is doable? The ships docks at 6:00.
Thanks,

This is what I found on Carnivals website:
• Personal grooming devices such as hair dryers, flat and curling irons, shavers, etc., are allowed on board when used with proper caution. These devices should not be used when other electrical appliances are plugged in. However, if such devices are determined to pose a hazard, they will be removed and returned the last day of the cruise prior to debark.

You can take straightners and curling irons, you just can't take irons for you cloths, unless something has recently changed.
When can you go to your room
in Princess Cruises
Posted
Hi, I haven't been on a princess cruise in about 8 years and will be going on Ruby in September. I was wanting to know if you can go directly to your room after embarkation or do you have to wait until a certain time? Thank you in advance.
