In regard to Fergus' comments - Chloe said herself this was her "dream" evening collection, which may not be for the average woman or consumer. Chloe has proven in her business the ability to clothe people of all ages and sizes. Santino's introduction of his mother may embarrass some mothers, but probably not his. She didn't seem anything but proud. What many people find vulgar, others only see as normal. Though I'd never call my mom "the ----" because she wouldn't appreciate it, I know people that have called their parents and it was appreciated.

I thought that without the details - the silver buttons, etc. - Daniel's collection wasn't really that special. Nor was it terribly original, though I did like it. No doubt Daniel will be successful.

I didn't care for Chloe's shrugs - esp. the poofy-sleeved pink one. But I loved some of her other pieces - the dark blue and maroon/burgandy ones were great. Glad she won. Very talented, can handle the pressure better than younger Daniel I think.

Santino's collection was quite beautiful, but not "him." Perhaps he tried to dumb it down just to win? He is broke. Really liked his affection for his mom, though. Made him more of a real person than a character created by the show/producers.

Also wished we could've seen a collection by Nick.

Kind of sad, however, that Grace was the model that "won." She didn't seem to have as good a walk or as strong a look as Santino's or Daniel's models, IMHO.

It is obvious - the fact that Santino is kept around to make "interesting TV."

But, I really do think he has potential. His dress for Nikki Hilton was lovely (not for me perhaps, but for someone else).

Remember last year? I didn't know anyone who liked Wendy Pepper - boring, frumpy .... But her runway show really did surprise me. Not bad at all.

Perhaps Santino will do the same?

Yay! I love this show too and all the people I work this think I'm nuts. Of course I do work in the sports section of a newspaper...

I also thought Kara made it farther than her talent. She may be a great designer someday, but she never made it through a challenge without help from others. She didn't seem to know who she is as a designer yet and what her style is.

I hope Daniel wins. I think he's the most talented. I've liked Chloe throughout (thought the first challenge dress - the aqua and black - was brilliant), but I agree she lost it this week. I knew from the beginning Santino would make it - maybe he's a genius design-wise, but he's such a jerk and he never thinks about the person who has to wear his clothes!

That all said, last year I thought Kara Saun would win and then at the final show, I was so blown away by Jay's line that I wanted them both to win. I'm really glad Bravo is doing the Project Jay show too.
