I have another general NCL question for everyone here. As I have said, my husband and I are sailing in 3 weeks with his mother and aunt, both in their 80's. Neither has email or internet and we are covering any expenses that come up from here on out (they gave us some money up front for the trip). I just did online check-in and they required that I put a payment method on for each room for onboard expenses. I put my credit card on our room but with their's it would only allow me to choose one of their names as the 'name on the card'. I ended up selecting 'cash' as the payment method for that room just to get through the check-in process. Will they allow me to go back and change that to my credit card later or even after we board? Or do I need to arrive with cash in hand to put on their account?
Honestly, them requiring a separate booking for each room and me having to set up separate accounts has been a real pain through all of this. -
You seem to enjoy the trivia so hopefully you can tell me, how does the 'visual trivia' work?

NCL customer service said we needed to make reservations for our meals in the main dining room and for the shows. That's a first for me. Just tryng to figure out how to arrange the meals when I don't have the date/time for the shows yet.

Also, can you give me the schedule/time of the main shows? This is my first time cruising where we had to book reservations for our entertainment. Guessing this part may be kind of difficult with our mom & aunt who like an earlier bedtime.

Really enjoying your review! My husband and I, plus his mom & aunt (both in their 80's) will be on the June 12th Land & Sea tour. Celebrating his retirement from teaching. First cruise for them, first time in Alaska for me.
We had not booked anything in Skagway so far. But we do end up on a train later in the trip during the land portion trip into Denali. With your past Alaska experience, would you still recommend doing the train excursion in Skagway or would that feel redundant when we end up on a train a few days later? If not the train, is there something else you would recommend for that day? The ladies are pretty spry for 83 & 85 but still need something that isn't a lot of walking.- 3

Half-price deal right now and it includes park entry and lunch. http://www.**********************cozumel/dolphins-swimming-deals.asp
Weird how it posted that link. It's at Dolphin Discoveries listed under DEALS.

I would be curious to know how all the piano bar performers feel about it. I personally wouldn't want to have a job where I had to sing in and breathe heavy smoke for 4-5 hours every day. Can't be good for their voice or their lungs.

YVR, random question here but did you find the crepes onboard the jewel? Thought I remember you saying you had but I read other reviews as well. Two days in and I'm sadly crepeless.
