My card was not platinum on the first day but I just went to guest services and they gave me a new platinum card. 

We absolutely love the Havana area and have only book Havana cruises now. To me it is worth it to have a respite from the overcrowding of the main pool areas during sea days. We had never gotten in the pools on a cruise ship until we experienced the Havana area. Absolutely LOVE IT!!!!!!

 We are booked in a suite and turn platinum on our next cruise so I guess we are covered one way or the other 🙂

Havana Balcony Cabins?  I’ll post more later about my thoughts.  Generally speaking, think of it as a standard balcony cabin with a porch for a balcony (one that anyone can peak into if your drapes are open).  It happens to be close by to some hot tuns and a pool (so far, has not been open) that has limited access to include only Havana guests during the day.  At night, they open up to anyone.

 

Is the service better?  No!  But service all over the ship has been quite good!

I thought that they were no longer allowing everyone to use the Havana area in the evening?

Thanks for posting and sharing your experience with us. I'd love to hear more about the issues you are having with the Havana area besides the pool being closed (which is HUGE). We are booked in a Havana room in a few months.

The extra room is so nice to have! If you can afford it, I think that you will really enjoy it. I will add, since you mentioned that your husband is experiencing some declining health, the shower is a tub/shower combo so you have to climb in it like you would a tub. Having the extra room in the bathroom is fantastic though. I hope you have a wonderful cruise!!!

Worth it! We love the steakhouse and usually go more than once.

we will be joining you on this cruise and I was wondering the same thing. We certainly wont be out late but it will be fun to have a late dinner and drink on the island in the evening!

Quick Question.....has anyone been to both resorts "for a day" and which do you prefer? We will be in Bermuda for 2 days so we are hoping to do one day of strictly relaxing on a beach (without hige crowds) and the other day touring the island. Thanks in advance.

I'm curious about the new steakhouse menu. We booked the steakhouse for 2 nights on our upcoming 8 night cruise because we have always enjoyed the steaks and selections. We have not cruised in 2 years though so I guess we missed that the menu changed. Did you by any chance take a picture of the new menu?
