We went ahead and booked with Norled.  Better safe than sorry.,...😜

True..,.my husband may be more comfortable with time cushion. Norled prob works best for us. Glad to hear you had good experience.  

Following to see what others say. Rødne gets such good reviews but not much available about Norled.

We are on this cruise in September.  I was looking at booking with Rødne cruise for their 2:00 cruise to Pulpit Rock. It says it lasts three hours and our ship is scheduled to leave at 6. Has anyone done this before?  Want to be sure we have enough time.  Thanks!

Yes, you were very helpful! I’m the one that needs to get into better shape for it...we are on Viking and I think we’ll need to manage our time well and have good conditions for it to work.

I can’t thank you enough for your detailed response! So so helpful. If you feel like reminiscing more about your trip and the excursions you enjoyed, would avoid, and any other tips...would love to hear from you. We aren’t usually cruise people, new to Viking, but I felt like it would be a good way to see this area. Planning to visit Berlin prior to trip so we have more time, and then staying some days after in Norway...working our way over to Oslo, after. Thanks again!

The schedule shows being there from 10-6. 8 hrs. Would love to hear from someone who did it from the Homelands cruise. Second choice would be doing a cruise with a company discussed frequently on this thread.

We are taking the Homeland cruise September 2019 and wondering if anyone on the cruise has hiked up to Pulpit Rock when in Stavenger....is there enough time and how difficult? Thanks!

Thx....excited! Not big cruisers, actually, because we like planning and doing it our way. But my husband let me select this trip, and feel like it will be a nice way to see this area. We are extending in Norway at the end and planning to go early too...still deciding on the front end. We leave out of Stockholm.

We are first time cruisers for Viking and going on the Homelands September 2019. We selected room 4038 dv from those still available. Any advice whether this has any drawbacks? Midship, just a couple down from elevator. Thx for any expertise you can share!
