Sure hope this will also apply to Seattle cruises!!
I hope I have the right to decide what is right for me. I do wear a mask when the situation calls for it but my choice.

One reason is because they are currently not in service.
Some say it is due to the fact that the ships have not gone through revolution. I could be wrong but I thought they were on the App prior to shut down. I guess we will see for sure once they come out of cold storage.
My June 17 cruise on Solstice shows up in app. now.

From White Pass Railroad site. Would think this is correct.
Cross Border Tours – Service Suspended for 2022 Operating Season
After months of working towards restoring the Carcross and Fraser Train Service Combination, we unfortunately must announce that we are unable to provide these offerings for the 2022 Season. We have delayed this difficult decision for several months in the hopes that we could find a workable solution for all involved and provide passenger service on these international routes. The challenges of logistics, restrictions, and uncertainty around wait times would have made it impossible for us to provide a consistent high quality service without delays and would create significant disruption to the passenger experience.
We respect and appreciate the time and efforts of our communities, staff, partners, customers, and governmental agencies at all levels in both Canada and the United States over the last year to try to bring this to fruition. Though we could not complete the task in time for this season, we will continue to work together towards restoring this service for 2023.
For those booked on Fraser and Carcross train service this summer, our reservation staff will be reaching out to discuss your travel options and provide an alternative service on our White Pass Summit Excursion offering.
Our staff is dedicated to providing a safe and memorable trip for all that step aboard our trains each summer. We look forward to seeing you aboard the Scenic Railway of the World.

Just the White Pass Train with no bus portion should be ok b/c you don't have to get out and show your passport. I rebooked from a bus up / train down tour to only a train excursion b/c it looks like those will happen.
Same here rebooked. No notice from Celebrity. They only had 10am and 2pm trains available.

Staying at The Charter Seattle, mid June, looking for tour or best way to get to Museum of Flight.

I have it booked with Celebrity in June. Still offered on trip planner. I am sick of these government officials making rules for us and not abiding by them.

Just spent 3 nights at the Charter House. Great location near Westlake Center. Easy walking to tons of good restaurants and no major hills
Thanks I have them booked for after cruise in June. They looked good on reviews and google but first hand knowledge is the best.

For them there is no issue. Their either test on board, skip CA, or bump people if they can't meet the testing requirements on board for full capacity.
I never thought AK would be cancelled it's about the updated policies that will come.
Celebrity must still be doing Alaska I just got email saying my final payment is due next week.

First cruise was on Celebrity Meridian first of many. A far cry from the modern ships.

i feel better about my choice of sailing June 17. sounds like weather should be good. On the Solstice for the Solstice.

Lets all agree if the government is involved it is never going to benefit the consumer.

As someone who lives in the Seattle area here are my thoughts. A previous person said that we won't know until May what testing is needed so don't worry too much about that.
The real thing to worry about is Seattle. If you are coming before your cruise for more than one night, be very careful downtown. This is not the Seattle that you see on TV. The addicts and mentally ill who live on the streets have made it a place you should try to avoid at all costs.
When people ask me about sailing from Seattle, I always tell them to sail out of Vancouver. Yes, they have some of the same problems but not between the downtown hotels, the ports and main places visitors want to go. For instance, if you want to walk from a downtown hotel to the Pike Place Market, you have to pass through one of the more dangerous areas to walk in. Go to Instagram and check out @seattle.looks.like.*****.
Thanks for info. Am on the 06/17/22 cruise out of Seattle. Plan is to return rent a car and go up OLYMPIC PENINSULA for 3 days and return to Seattle for 2 days before flying home. Might have to rethink days in Seattle.

Iceland is on my bucket list but did Norway on silly out of Southampton and it is amazing. Great cruise.

I have called twice for repricing. First time 30 minute wait second 45 minutes. Both times a very pleasant and helpful person. I figure the time waiting is time well spent to save $1200. More people need to post good experiences and out comes. Enough doom and gloom around. Have a great day and happy cruising.

Got off of Solstice July 24 about 9:00 at luggage pickup there are porters well worth the tip. They got our luggage met us other side of immigration. They have agreement with Taxis and took us past line and into cab. No problem.
