  1. Just booked the Paradise last night for my stepdaughter and I. She's interested in getting the soda package but i'm not sure she will drink enough. How much are soda's on board if you just buy one can? Also, what time does the self assist passengers usually debark the ship? We both need to go to work that day and i'm wondering what time we will be getting off. TIA

  2. Thanks for the review. How many people did you have? We have three going. Would lounge chairs be provided for all three people? I noticed it said it includes 2 floating mats. I don't care about that but we would want the loungechairs to sit in the sun if any of us wanted. TIA

  3. I can't answer the outlet question, but I wanted to let you know that the ship can run out of space at a muster station. So if you are booked with refundable deposit, I suggest you add the 2 other people now, to make sure you don't run out of muster space. You can cancel them for a full refund as late as 2 weeks before the cruise.

Yes they told me that when i booked. If theres no more room no one else will go. They did tell me if anyone cancelled after final payment i will lose the fare, but get back the gratuities and port fees. Who told you you can get a full refund up to 2 weeks before?

  4. We are going on a girls cruise in January 19 on Independence of the Seas. We booked a Spacious promenade view that holds 6 people....room 8307. Right now we have 4 girls going but may add 2 more. I know the room is twice as big as the average room but still will be tight so my questions.....is there still only 2 outlets in the room for 6 people? Also, is the air conditioner accommodating for 6 people? TIA

  5. This was my 4th RCCL cruise, my first in probably 7 or 8 years at least. Again, i'm always amazed at the beauty of RCCL ships. I've read some negative things about NOTS so i was a bit nervous. But she was beautiful, well taken care of, clean. Always so much to do. Flowrider, rock wall, mini golf, basketball, ping pong. Never a dull moment. Our two port days were cloudy and windy. We had no plans to do excursions so we just walked around so the weather didn't bother us. I feel bad for those who did have excursions. The Food. We ate at Chops one night. Phenomenal. Amazing filet. I can't say enough about how good it was. The dining room was always good every night. We had anytime dining but sat at the same table every night and had the same wait staff. Vishal and Vikram were both amazing. I don't have alot good to say about the Windjammer. Just wasn't a fan of breakfast and lunch. We did Johnny Rockets one day for lunch and it was really good. I thought the entertainment was good. The ice skating show, the production show, the comedian and The Alleycats acapella group was really good too. We watched karaoke one night. I wish they had it more than just 2 nights on a 5 night cruise. Also played alot of trivia. Our room attendant Arleen was amazing. So friendly and always called us by our names. And always talked to us when she saw us. All the staff was very friendly. All in all a great Mom/Daughter cruise. Going Indenpence next January. I can't wait for that!

  6. We're going on the NOTS in mid January. First, do you have to make reservations for the ice skating shows ahead of time? I don't see where i can do that in my cruise planner. Second, is there only one internet package? Its showing 20% off but its still almost $15 a day which i think is kind of high. Last time we were on Carnival they had a social media package for $5 a day. Does RCCL have anything like that? TIA
