  1. I'm on the side of arriving early. Will be sailing out of Miami Terminal A on AOS in March. Will be on the ship as early as possible.

My question. When do the Porters start to work? Just curious as to how early you can show up and hand over your bags?

I enjoy hanging around the terminal and watching all the commotion.

I always tip the porters. Just the right thing to do. Not because I expect extra special handling. They are long shoremen and do us a great service despite dealing with some tough self important big shot platnium, suite, diamond customers who think they deserve special service because of who they are.

Not everyone..... Just a few. We've all seen them.

  2. The following excerpt (at the end of the post)  is straight from the Royal Caribbean "Guest Conduct Policy".

    https://www.royalcaribbean.com/content/dam/royal/resources/pdf/guest-conduct-policy.pdf

Reserving deck chairs is right up there with  public nudity.

....... And where did the 30 minute rule come from?

Next time, I'm going to remove the towel,  turn it in to the attendent and sit down and enjoy myself it the best spot by the pool.

If........ and when anybody shows up, I'm going to tell them nobody was using that towel so I turned it in.  Let the fun begin.

-----  from the policy and I quote.

    Discourteous or Disruptive Behavior

Pool, deck and theater chairs may not be reserved. Public nudity is not permitted and guests must
be appropriately attired (including while on stateroom balconies if visible to others onboard, on
other vessels or ashore). Topless sunbathing may be permitted on some ships and on some
itineraries, but only in designated areas. (Contact Guest Services for Dress Code details.) Boom
boxes or loud radios are not permitted. Roller blades, roller skates, skateboards, scooters,
surfboards, bicycles, and similar items may not be utilized onboard; except for mobility aids related
to special needs, as approved by the ship's medical staff.

  3. I love it BBQ-HO. I'm from Eastern NC. We do whole hog vinegar based sauce with all the red pepper you can stand. It's different than the red sauce as some say an acquired taste. Once acquired, it's heaven and you pour on the sauce.

Don't get me wrong I love all BBQ. The best are the shacks that make one of a kind served in Styrofoam or paper plates. So tender you can eat with plastic fork.

  4. You are the man! Best review on here by far. Will be Alluring next March.

If I have half the fun you had, I'll be in good shape.

We have a ocean view balcony starboard all the way aft on deck 12.

What is the closest bar to me?

Last cruise we on the Carnival Breeze. We had an aft balcony and it was so convenient to leave the room and go up a flight of stairs and be right at the aft pool bar.

Just curious as to what my options might be on the Allure.

    Thanks for a fantastic rewiew.
