  1. Spa reception area has been revamped. Heated lounge chairs have been added. Hot tubs, and thermal pool the same as is the change room area, showers and sauna.

The Spice H20 is a great place to sit for breakfast when the Garden Cafe is crowded. Just load up your plate and continue walking to back of the ship past the new bar area. Two hot tubs in the Spice H20 which are surprisingly uncrowded during sailaways and evenings. A guitar singer in afternoon. No evening events there on our sailing June 3-10th. The Bliss lounge is still the place to be at night. The Atrium had singers in the evening. Crew was amazing. Ginza Restaurant gets very busy and has good food. Versailles Dining Room and O-Sheehan's both offer breakfast. Hot White Party was held on the pool deck.

  2. Thank you Carolyn for all the links. We are now actually getting quite excited for Miami.

As it gets closer to your cruising date, you will be able to check various sites to see what is going on around the area. There may be some very unique things going on that you want to spend the day doing.

Here are some great websites that will show some things going on.

  3. Bigjcruiser - yes I would recommend Moderno, lovely salad buffet to start then delicious meats that they bring round to your table, served with garlic mash, black beans and veg.

Can you please tell me what time you docked in Santorini? We have the same itinerary but it says we dock at 2pm but I see they have been docking at 1pm.

  4. We were on this catamaran April 30/15. Maximum number of guests 14, our day there were 12 people. We were taken first to swim with the turtles and had over half and hour in the water. Each of us got to feed and touch the 5 turtles that were present. Next stop was over a shipwreck teaming with beautiful fish. We were served fresh banana bread and later on in the day fresh carrot cake. We sailed up the west coast heading north and anchored near a beautiful beach. On board we had a delicious lunch with time to enjoy the turquoise water and beach. We were catered to the entire time and our glasses were never empty. Great crew. Great experience, great memories.

  5. After taking the shuttle into Bridgetown from the cruise terminal, $1 cost per person, we walked through the downtown area to the ZR bus terminal. These are the little white vans that you pay $1 USD for. They drop you off right at Accra beach and run every minute. Best little fun ride to the beach. Don't worry about the locals, they are the friendliest people and very helpful. Just tell the driver where you want off.

After playing in the waves for a couple of hours, we crossed the road to the Quayside Shopping Centre. Great little restaurant called Picasso's served fresh hamburgers, pasta, fish and chips, banks beer and pina coladas. It is an outdoor restaurant sheltered from the sun by big umbrellas. Service was quick, food was delicious and prices very reasonable. Hopped on the dollar bus back into Bridgetown. Best day ever under $50 usd a couple.

  6. We had an island tour with Carson Taxi Service 246-240-5339. We had an amazing 6 hour tour visiting Bathsheba, Animal Flower Cave where we had an amazing lunch overlooking the ocean while the whales jumped in the water. We then enjoyed the on site cave tour where we swam in the Mineral water. We stopped at many places throughout the tour for pictures, coconut bread, beer, rum punch, sugar cane and fed a wild green monkey some banana. We also stopped at a few beaches. The whole time Carson provided information on island history, points of interest and what island life is like. We had 9 people in our group and we were very comfortable in his air conditioned van. He showed up on time for our tour and he smiled throughout the day. Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Carson.

  7. I think many of these oblivious, self-centered parents never stop to think (or care) about the obnoxious amount of noise their kids can make. Most teenaged girls still have high-pitched voices and make a lot of annoying, LOUD talking, giggling and squealing noises. Like, OMG!!!!

Even if they are "breast developed".

Trust me, if my daughters had high-pitched voices and made any annoying, LOUD talking, giggling and squealing noises. Like, OMG, they would be staying home. Fortunate for me, they are very considered of what their actions may have on others. We could learn from them how to be so thoughtful of others. Amen

  8. Apparently where some folks are from, all it takes for a girl to be considered an adult is that she's "toilet trained and breast developed". Yee-haw! :D

Ok OK enuff. She is NOT an adult. I will admit that. But my point is, you really have to use discretion as well as common sense. Heck, I wouldn't enjoy swimming or relaxing in a pool with underage person. But I wouldn't complain if that person was considerate of others and well behaved. I would much rather that than an intoxicated adult.

  9. Yes Suse

You`ll be safe in the pool with twenty 80yr old men with incontinence problems. They could barely get in the pool let alone jump out when the urge to tinkle overcomes them.

    Rich

LOL Rich. I thought of that when I read the post. Well folks, I soon will be travelling with my very well behaved, toilet trained, breast developed 14 and 17 year daughters - on yet a 20 day cruise. You will see us soaking in the adult pool and maybe even in the whirlpool enjoying our much deserved time away from school books and dishes. Although they may still be considered children in the eyes of many adults, I certainly pay adult fares for them on buses, theatres and at buffets. I agree that there is a line that gets crossed, but sometimes common sense may play a role.
