I am looking for images and Info about SA7034 on VOLENDAM. I read “look for ziggy” but I seem unable to accomplish it. Any help so appreciated!

The bathroom is very close, but it could not make it up the he steep incline on my own. I’m a very independent person, but my wife had to push me up the hill when I had to use the bathroom.
Another warning about this cabana is, there is a path that leads right to the cabana that people often use. There is no way there to access the beach from that path without walking through the cabana. We got a good laugh from it because at one point everyone else in my group was in the water watching me direct traffic in the cabana. The photo above shows when I moved the lounger to block the path so I could finally relax.
Thank you so very much! You have answered some very important questions for me. I have seen your Photos and some of your many reviews. I really look forward to reading more.
Thank you, Gloria

We booked this cabana directly through Holland America. I've not visited HMC while on a Carnival cruise, so I don't know if Carnival books it the same way,
If there is no bathroom in Cabana 1, how close is the nearest accessible bathroom please. Sorry to “beat a dead horse”, but it’s important to my wheelchair friend.

Whoops! My post got away before I finished it.
Are there walkways for a wheelchair to the beach area, etc, and also is there a bathroom in Cabin 1?
TIA !

We have booked Cabana 1 with HAL directly next April. My friend uses a Wheelchair.
Will she have trouble disembarking at Half Moon Cay? We are getting mixed messages by TA and HAL.

Hi Sue, thank you so much for all the information. It is extremely helpful! I can think of a few questions right now.
Since my friend can transfer to a regular type sedan, we could easily get into a taxi putting her wheelchair in the trunk.
**Would you feel safe doing this in most any of the stops that you made? We are two women traveling together, and my friend is a small person.
It would be great if we could do something like a glass bottom boat or whale watching in some of the ports. Did you do anything like this? I know she would love just strolling around and shops and wheelchair browsing. PV Sounds iffy from what I’ve been reading (cobblestones etc). Private tours might be best at times. More research is going to be required by me I can see.
Any advice is so very welcome. Thank you. Glo

Hi, I did not mention the Panama Canal part because I don’t think we’ll actually get off the ship. This is what I left out:
P.C. Balboa
Cruise Panama Canal
P.C. Cristobal
Cartagena, Columbia next
Half Moon Cay
Fort Lauderdale
(We’ll see about getting off in Balboa and Cristobal - not sure. Information welcome!).
I just realized I left out Cartagena in my previous post, sorry.

:) We are most interested in the WHEELCHAIR excursion possibilities in:
Puerto Vallarta
Huatulco, MX
Puerto Quetzal, Guatemala
Corinto, Nicaragua
Puerto Caldera, Costa Rica
Half Moon Cay, Bahamas
**We are unsure about using a taxi in these ports.**. Any advice is welcome.
I suspect we will stay onboard during the Panama Canal Crossing to see it.
Thanks so much.

I need information on excursions a wheelchair passenger might take during a HAL cruise from San Diego to Fort Lauderdale. Thanks so much.
Drink Package Cost
in Royal Caribbean International

I’m a first time cruiser on Royal Caribbean. I’ve been reading your posts about the drink package. Can I order a bottle of wine and have it delivered to my cabin? Not sure how to do this. Thank you.
