  1. I’m not much of an alcohol drinker myself but I purchased Cheers because I wanted to try a few different alcohol drinks I normally would not buy. I tried a chocolate martini 🤮 I tried several fruity fancy drinks 🥴 I had several Corona beers each day 🤪 but for me it was worth the cost to have a couple of specialty coffees each morning then a few energy drinks through the day. I was really loving the two a day milkshakes in the afternoon and evenings. The ladies at the coffee bar were happy to make different coffee shakes or put shots of liquor in the shake.

I’m not sure if I broke even with the cost but it was more about enjoying a vacation and trying anything and everything and not worrying about how much something cost. I even had some incredible conversation with people I met at the bar because I would not normally hangout at a bar.

I say if your budget allows it go for Cheers, and when you get that glass of wine at the bar raise your glass and say Cheers!!!!!!!

I HAVE BOOKED A CRUISE ON APRIL 14, 2019 ON THE DREAM OUT OF NEW ORLEANS.  I HAVE BEEN TRYING FOR MONTHS TO GET THE FASTER TO THE FUN, BUT IT ALWAYS SAYS SOLD OUT.  I HAVE TRIED CALLING CARNIVAL AND EMAILED SHORE EXCURSIONS WITH NO SUCCESS, I ALSO CHECK ONLINE SEVERAL TIMES A DAY.  DOES ANYBODY KNOW HOW I MIGHT CAN GET THIS FOR MY UPCOMING CRUISE?  ANY SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

Just keep going back and checking.

I have found it available at random times.

Once at 2:00 am and once at 11:00 in the afternoon. Just be ready to jump on it when you find the “SOLD OUT” banner gone.

  3. We Ate in the Steakhouse on Freedom in mid December on the first night and counted six people having dinner. I agree with Art of the Table being an interesting dessert. I couldn’t understand much of what the chef was saying as he created this  dessert , but it was an awesome presentation. Lol I felt obligated to eat the whole thing after he worked so hard. But to your question, I’m sure you could easily be seated within a reasonable time.

I can tell you there is no shortage of snails. My garden is full of them.

There is a shortage of cheap snails. The world consumes about 1 billion Euro's worth of snails. This year there is about a 100,000 Ton shortage.

The shortage has caused the prices to double. For our restaurants we buy snails produced in Ireland (no they are not green) and brined in Greece and packed in 1 Kg jars. They hold about 100 snails and cost $60. These snails have a bland taste and permits the chefs to use spices of their choice to add flavor.

I am sure Carnival can spring $3 per order to continue to serve snails. Personally, I'd rather enjoy caviar with onion, egg, and toast points. Except that would cost $15 plated, and we know Carnival is not going for that!

Thank God you own a restaurant , because I was thinking you knew waaayy to much about snails!!!  I personally have never tried them and don’t see myself ever getting past the negative image I have of eating them. I’m pretty much a Guys Burger type on the cruise but if I had enough of those free alcohol drinks (700.00 dollar cheers package) I might try one. I live in South Texas and was forced to try Menudo one time, so I might man up and try one.

I need time to speed up now, and then slow down to a crawl in 14 days so that 5 nights feels like 50!

I know I’ve spent almost as much money preparing for this cruise as we did on the ticket purchase! And that’s okay because the party planning is as much fun as the party!

I have gone way overboard...no pun intended!

I’m celebrating my 40th on this cruise, y’all! Cheers to aging but not looking your age! 💅🏾💄💁🏾‍♀️

Who else is inching closer to their vacay?

Happy Birthday early.  We are under 30 days out for a 7 day cruise. Sailing on Freedom Dec. 7

  6. I've had one of the suites with a hot tub twice, and enjoyed the tub both times. That said, it's pretty noisy when the bubbles are turned on, and the electric bathroom lights don't exactly lend themselves to a relaxing experience. Consider bringing a Battery Flickering Candle Thing if you wanna use the tub frequently. (We have one that takes AAA batteries which last seemingly forever.) Or download a candle app for your phone :-P

Ok I wasn’t planning on getting married on the cruise lol. But I’m sure that would be very romantic except apparently you have to be a contortionist to get 2 regular sized people in the tub with sliding doors and a very narrow and small tub. But hey we love a challenge, so if the ship is rockin don’t come a ...... well you know.

  7. Was it sold out? I am asking because I check everyday for our cruise because it is sold out.

We booked this cruise in June and FTTF has been sold out sense then. I kept checking about 3 or 4 times a day hoping to catch it available. I checked usually late evening or early morning every day, then decided on a break at work to give it a quick look. It was open at 11:20ish in the AM so I got it right then. I did go back to double check if it was still open about 15 minutes later and it showed Sold Out again. So keep trying and eventually you will get it
