Thanks TAPI. Great review. It's good to hear a positive review of your cruise. We are going with a completely open mind, and after reading your excellent review, we can't wait until June 28.

Hi all,
I'm looking for a bit of clarification. We are booked on bellissima to sail at the end of June on the aurea experience . We booked in August 2018, before the new drinks packages came in. My booking confirmation says we are on the all inclusive drinks package to be consumed in all bars, self service buffet and restaurants. On the old bar menus, we could order anything that didn't have an asterisk beside it. How will we know what we can or can't order now as the new bar menus will be geared towards the new packages, and how will we be sure we get the old package that we have booked, as from what I can gather it has a better choice and more expensive price range of drinks, and includes ice cream etc.
Does anyone have a photo of the old bar menu that I can bring on board as proof of what we are entitled to, as I am completely confused
Thanks in advance for any info😎😎

This is our first ever cruise, so we are complete newbies, and we have nothing to compare with. I'm looking forward to visiting a different port every day, and seeing the same view as the captain as the ship enters port(with the option of doing so from the comfort of the hot tub😊😊😊)
Are you intending to plan your own port days or are you going to take organised tours? We have looked at a few organised tours, but for a family of 4 its quite expensive. We are hoping to just do our own exploring and then go back to the ship early to enjoy everything on board.🍝🍷🍨🥂🍹

If you do a search on YouTube there are a couple of videos showing the duplex suites on the meraviglia. We are sailing on Bellissima in June in a duplex suite, and found the YouTube videos a great help. They look great!!

We have booked and paid a £1000 deposit in July for an aurea suite on bellissima next June. Will our classic drinks package that is included in our "experience" still stand? If not msc might just "experience" a very disgruntled client.

We sail from barcelona on the 28th June.we can't wait, although it all sounds a bit daunting since we are newbies!! I'm sure we'll be fine.

Thanks Bea.
I found that review by kikki21. It gives a good insight into the aurea experience.
I just hope we have a better experience with the food!!

Hi all. Could anyone fill me in on the my choice dining option on the aurea experience.
We have never cruised before so we are complete newbies!! Do we have to reserve our table each day or do we just turn up at the restaurant at any time without a reservation and wait to be seated?
Thanks in advance for any info

Hi all. Just wondering if anyone has stayed in or has any experience of the duplex suites on the meraviglia? We have booked onto the Bellissima next June into an duplex suite, and I believe it's the same layout.

Hi. We are on the aurea package for our cruise next year, which includes the classic drinks package. If I decided to have a drink from the deluxe drinks package menu, am I charged full price or does the aurea package count for part of the drinks price?Yes.Sent from my PH-1 using Forums mobile app

Thanks for the great review. We are sailing on the bellissima next year on the aurea experience. Is the top 16 the sun deck used for aurea experience, and do you have to pay for sunbeds?

Hi my wife and two kids (14 and 16) are taking our first cruise next June on the Bellissima in the med. Any tips on what we should do as soon as we board the ship? Book kids into clubs, book spa treatments(we're booked on the aurea experience) etc? We are complete numbers so any info would be very helpful.
Thanks

Thanks for the informationWould suggest you give yourself at least 30 mins to travel from T1 to T2...all depends on getting a shuttle bus quickly or having to wait for one.Sent from my SM-T820 using Forums mobile app

This sounds like a good service. This may sound silly, but if you leave your luggage out side your cabin for collection the night before disembarking, will it be brought to a holding area in the airport for collection later in the day?,or do you have to get the transfer bus that your luggage is on?
If you are going to use baggage storage Barcelona, do you hold your luggage in your room and take it off the ship yourself the next morning.
Sorry for being a newbie but we are going on our first cruise next June on the new msc Bellissima, we finish our cruise in Barcelona at 6am and our flight is not in till 11pm so we have a full day in the city, and getting rid of our bags would be brilliant.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi all. This is my first post on cruise critic,so please bare with me. My family and l are going on our first cruise to the western med in June 2019 with MSC on the new Bellissima ship. We are starting off from Barcelona and are stopping off at Marseille, Genoa, Naples, Messina, and Valietta before finishing back at Barcelona. I would like to know if it is possible to visit any of of the city's we stop at without having to take tours organised by MSC, as they are quite expensive for a family of four. Would it be possible to walk into the city centres from the ship? And are there any trips that anyone can recommend that we should take from these stops.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.:cool::cool::cool::cool::cool:
