Recently returned from 29 day sailing L.A. to Sydney.  Leaks continue!  Multiple leaking reported

in the Princess theater deck 7 mid section. Several seats covered with plastic & blocked off.

Spent one evening paying more attention to the water pouring down than watching the show.

They finally seemed to get things under control close to the end of our cruise.

Am flying into LAX and am planning to use Super Shuttle to bring me to San Pedro pier

to board a Princess ship. Will I be able to do this using their shared vans at the airport?

Do they bring you to the ship or just to the gate? I've only used them to get to a pre cruise

hotel in the past.

We were part of a larger group that used Thi Hoang from smiletoursvietnam

for the Saigon Highlights tour this past April. Would definitely use them again.

I suggest getting a group together to save on cost.

We used David Nguyen for a private tour to Hue last May. I had a total of 20 in my group for an all day tour. chiduyencssh@gmail.com

Would definitely recommend & use both again.

I plan on booking Century Southern Tower Hotel in Shinjuku which is

near Shinjuku station. I believe their ck in ends @ 11:30p.m.

(I was hoping to use the train service to get to Yokohama.)

If I take the airport Limo bus it will drop us @ the hotel. There is a 10:40 bus

from the international terminal that will get there @ 11:31 (depending on traffic). The airport express bus has a later departure, but of course it gets

to Shinjuku station later.

The alternatives are:

1N @ the airport hotel & 1N in town which cuts into my only day for sightseeing.

2N @ the airport hotel using the train & bus to get into town & to

Yokohama.

I did look into both the Haneda Express bus & the airport Limo bus &

hoping to use them for my transfer.

on a previous post), but their check-in ends @ midnight!

That's my problem. Many hotels end check-in between 11p.m.- midnight!!

My flight is sched to arrive @ 9:30p.m. Still need to go through customs &

retrieve my luggage. Would I make a 11:30pm or MN ck in or should I book

a room @ the airport hotel?

Since we only have 2N, I hate the thought of checking in & out 2 times & wasting valuable sightseeing time.

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

First time to Tokyo & on my hotel research noticed many hotel ck in end before

midnight leaving me with many hotel & transfer questions.

Need hotel suggestions for a 2 night pre cruise stay in Oct that has late check in, prefer 4*.

Don't know how long it takes for customs & luggage pick-up, so I'm not sure

if I need to book Green Tomato or if I'll be able to use an airport bus for transfer.

Hi Bev - We just booked our cruise out of Yokohama for 10/9/16 sailing

and just started my own research. I found that the port is about 90min

from central Tokyo. Hanada Airport is closer to the port than Narita Airport.

There is a map on green tomato shuttle service that may help.

We've just booked the airport shuttle to the Fairmont. Only SG$9 pp and only 9 seats in total on the bus - so you don't have to wait too long for it to fill up.

You mentioned you had booked this shuttle.

Does it need to be booked, or can you pick it up curb-side?

If no to curb-side pick up, where / how are bookings made?

Arriving in Singapore airport terminal 3 mid-day & staying @ the Fairmont

Does anyone know if there are shuttles available, or is a taxi recommended?

Thank you for all the info r/t Chu Chi tunnels. I was hoping the boat would cut transportation time and allow us to also tour Saigon. Since we only have the day in port, it's not worth rushing around trying to do both.

John - we'll be docking in Phu My & have been contemplating the Cu Chi tunnels but would also like to tour HCMC. Is it possible to cut time by getting there & back by boat without a guided tour @ the tunnels leaving time for HCMC? If you think it's doable, where would we find the boats & aprox what can I expect to pay?
