I'm sorry but what others wear to dinner whether formal or not don't affect me eating and enjoying my vacation.After all my cruises I have planned a family cruise and we will be wearing all white.I want one family photo because I'm the one person who hate taking all those photos.Wear what you want and enjoy your kids and cruise.

I decided to have my room decorated for the big 50 on the Vista .Have anyone got anything from the fun shops will I need to bring receipts of purchase.Thanks for any feed back .:o

On my cruise on the Breeze in January I received a 50.00 spa gift card and dinner for 2 in the Italian restaurant.What a surprise let's see what I get on the Vista for my 50th.

I booked for Jan 8 my 50th birthday.

I was on the Breeze for my birthday in Jan got a card.Also coupon for 50 dollars off in the spa and free dinner for 2 in the Italian restaurant we was very surprised.I can't wait to cruise on the Vista for my 50th next year.:o

Definitely talk to your PVP and let him/her know what happened. I am a TA that books a lot of Carnival cruises and I can attest that Carnival does make exceptions to their policy of no refunds after a certain date. While they probably won't refund your money, it is possible they will either give you the full amount as credit towards a future cruise, or allow you to transfer your reservation to another cruise within a set period of time. Be polite and explain the situation to the PVP. If he/she can't do anything, ask to have the problem escalated to Guest Services. You could also write directly to icare@carnival.com.

Thanks everyone for the advice and I don't have to relocate just work in the new facility for 2 months.I will call my Pvp to see what can be done about it all vacation days have been suspended because of the immigration reform going with the kids.I know sometimes these things happen but the human in me is still p.o. The job market in my neck of the woods are slim and I'm not as young as use to be so not quitting my job over a cruise.

I planned and payed for my cruise got the bad news that I have to go Texas for my job.I tried to get out of it but it came from Washington don't go no job.I hope my trip insurance can help.To say I'm p.o is a understatement was so looking forward to the Conquest in November and I got upgraded to a balcony.Can anyone tell will I get anything back or is it all lost. TEARS :mad:::(

I always like to pay mine before I go less to think about.They work s o hard and you someone going to comment about wait until you get to te ship.Enjoy your cruise.

I had to change cabins hubby is a smoker so no need for balcony.Smoking on balcony is his only perk we was on the lideo on the Conquest.New cabin interior on the lideo on a few steps and he is closer to smoking area.We respect others that don't smoke and we will not jump cruise lines because of new policy like some of our cruise partner's .I hope they see this and Ncl change there policy (I will get new cruise buddies:p)

My apologies if this has been posted before, but I haven't caught up with the thread yet this morning. I saw this posted to another cruise related page to a certain spokesperson. It appears the email did go out yesterday, as noted by the prepaid gratuities.

 

 

I got the same letter but mine stated 250 fee to smoke on balcony.

I booked in January and my cruise for November is the same price.We have a balcony on the Conquest on the lideo deck no price drop yet.
