Pros:  no tendering, music and dancers to welcome you, food was fresh and delish, drink servers were frequent and quite quick, lots of different areas to explore.  Floating tiki bar was great,  could walk waaay out on sandbar...watch out for stingrays....do the stingray shuffle!  Fireworks just prior to departing COCO Cay were great but need to be later as it was not dark enough!  A very worthy effort tho.  Loved the beer tap at the buffet!  Lots of bathrooms around.

Where is the Sandbar with the Rays????

  2. I have read various accounts of the "All Access Tour"  but none seem to be recent.  Can anyone help with the details and how it was on the Harmony more recently?  Trying to decide if it's worth it for myself and the future engineer of the family.  I have not been on a Galley or Bridge Tour since I cruised Carnival many moons ago and it was free.

No worries, if your 13 yo son is even remotely athletic I don't think the lesson is necessary though.  I"m 53 and out of shape and I managed to do it successfully without a lesson. As do most kids who do it.

She isn't athletic but is great on the Boogie Board, and is super timid about the stand up surfing.  Thus, the bit of quieter time on the wave with less people around may help boost that confidence.

I'm assuming that your $524.79 would be for three people and that the $69 is for one persons lessons.  My suggestion to the OP is to consider it based on the idea that the other perks associated with The Key would also have some value and also provide them with an additional benefit that I would consider an equivalent to the group lesson, extra Flowrider time with few people in line. If your buying it only for one person for one benefit obviously it doesn't work.

I appreciate the thought - but the Key for 6 people is a bit out of budget and the lesson is only for one.  We are diamond so the bit extra the Key gives isn't a huge issue to me to be honest.  I would prefer to spend that money elsewhere as the only thing really worth is is the internet and I prefer to unplug for the week and not have to worry about facebook or things back home!
