Hi Everyone,

We are a family of five with three teenagers. Can you recommend some options at Medano Beach where we can lounge for the day with a $ minimum for food/drinks per person?  We'd prefer not to purchase $100+ day passes for a resort since we are only in Cabo until 1pm.  I'd welcome any recommendations!

We have been to Cabo San Lucas several times on past cruises.  We've already been on kayaking and boating/snorkeling tours.  We are looking for some new ideas or might decide to spend time relaxing at the beach.  We have three teenagers.  If we decide to relax on the beach, would you recommend taking a taxi out to Lovers Beach and spending a few hours there?  Or would you recommend a beach club at Medano Beach where we can use lounge chairs for the day?  It's not clear to me if we'd be able to stay at a beach club for the day with three teens?  Any recommendations? Beach or other activities?  Thanks!

Hi - Would appreciate your advice as we finalize plans in Argostoli (group of 6 including kids).  We have a packed cruise in July (all day shore excursions in 4 other ports) and would like to have a more leisurely day in Argostoli.  We are planning to go to Makris Gialos for a few hours and then stroll through the town right near the port in the afternoon.   If you have spent time right near port, can you offer advice on walking around?   I know there are other sights in Kefalonia, but I think we will need one day of downtime (not in a taxi/tour bus).  In your opinion, is this a nice way to spend the day?

Hi Everyone - Was hoping you might have some tips on storing luggage in Venice.  We disembark in Venice after a 7 day cruise.  Post cruise, we are planning to stay one night in a hotel near St. Mark's Square.  We're starting to realize that it might be a hassle to bring our full set of luggage to the hotel for one night!  Does it make sense to store our luggage near the terminal, take a backpack for our one night stay, and then return for our luggage the next day before heading to airport?

I'm starting to get concerned about the crowds in Venice and the hassle with getting to St. Mark's Square/hotel with our luggage.  I'm also wondering if we will encounter long lines when trying to store our luggage.  Any advice would be invaluable!  Thanks!

It depends how long you are in port for. We did an excursion that did bothLjublijana and Lake Bled. We had a couple of hours in the city and also had time to visit the castle and spend some time in the village having a drink.

Agree with Marazul.  For DIYers there is a local bus route that goes between Taormina and Castelmola.   The last time we were in Castelmola is was a quiet gorgeous morning and DW and I were about the only folks on the street.  We somehow got lucky and spotted a 2nd floor café/restaurant that was open...but did not look like much from the street.  We walked up to their 2nd floor restaurant and the view out the other side was spectacular.  Definitely worth the drive (we had a rental car) from Taormina.

Hi - Looking for some advice before we book a shore excursion from Koper.  I found a tour that goes to both Lake Bled/Ljublijana but just realized that it means there is not time for a plenta ride/visit to castle at Lake Bled.  Is it worth going to Lake Bled if you don't have time for plenta or castle?  Seems like time at Lake Bled would be rushed.   I'm starting to think we should pick Lake Bled OR Ljublijana instead of a combo tour.  Thoughts?

Hi Everyone - This is our first time cruising on Royal Caribbean in many years.  We are signed up for My Time Dining.  I just signed up for the various shows, but am having a hard time making the dinner seatings work and some of the show times.   The earliest dinner time slot available is 6:45pm, which does not work with an 8:00 or 8:30 show.  Will earlier seatings (i.e. 6:00pm) be available AFTER we board or do we have to eat at another restaurant/buffet on those evenings?  My daughters love our special dinners together in the dining room so am trying to understand how to make this work.  Thanks for any advice!

Hi!  Would appreciate any advice on the best beach day pass options in St. Maarten.  Have read great reviews about Holland House -- seems like a good, relatively inexpensive option.  However, it is first come first serve so uncertain how quickly it would fill up.  I have also read about Divi Little Beach Resort and found an option at about $40 per adult for a day pass.  However, I have also read that you do not even need a day pass to use this beach and can just rent chairs/umbrellas when you get there.  I am more than happy to pay for day passes, but don't want to pay if it is not necessary.  Westin also seemed like a good option for families.  We are two adults and three children.  Thanks for any advice!

Hi!  This is our first time cruising on Royal Caribbean - Allure of the Seas in April 2019.  We are signed up for My Time Dining with limited times available for pre-cruise reservations.  Can you confirm the nightly show times for Mamma Mia, Aqua show and other recommended shows?  I'm trying to determine if a 7pm dining time will still allow us to see shows every night.  Thanks for ANY advice related to My Time Dining and evening entertainment.  Our family enjoys dining together each evening so we would not want to rush this part of our day. Thanks!  

Hi Everyone - Planning our next family cruise and choosing between the Carnival Magic and Allure of the Seas. Seems like we should try Allure of the Seas since we have never been on that cruise ship before. But, had such a great time on our last Carnival Magic cruise and want to ensure we are making the right decision. Allure of the Seas seems amazing, but I'm concerned about the number of passengers/crowds. If anyone has been on both, would appreciate your recommendation!! Thanks so much.
