Hi.  We are booked for a cruise on the Seaside leaving June 8, 2019.  We are in a group of 55 or so that began booking back in August and have continued to add cabins.  I just got off the phone with a Supervisor from MSC's group department. He was so very helpful and confirmed that all bookings prior to November 12th are able to upgrade from the Drinks on Us Package to either the Classic or Deluxe package until December 6th.  So, if you want the better bang for your buck and the gelato....call and do it now!  I just upgraded my husband and I with zero problems to the classic package for $252.00 as simple as that.  He also explained to me that a matching code is entered into their system and our sign/sail cards and that code will determine the package we paid for and what's included.  Even though the drink prices have gone up, if say (example a Miami Vice) was included in the Classic package when you booked, it is still included in the Classic package when you sail as long as you upgrade before December 6th.  I hope this information helps.

I've read all the posts regarding the new drink packages however I am still confused!!  I see where if you've already paid for your upgraded drink package prior to November 12th, they will honor it.  How about us booking the cruise prior to November 12th but not purchasing an upgraded drink package?  Will we be allowed to purchase the "old" drink package or will we have to pick one of the new packages?  Also what about drinks on us?  Thank you

Just off seaside Sept 1st....the previous post is correct....I want to add though that there are milkshakes included as well as gelato ....upgrade from drinks on us to classic and feel it was extremely worth the cost....great value

Hi everyone! I have done tons of research and even called MSC 3x only to receive a different answer every time. Has anyone cruised on the Seaside and had the Classic Drink Package and knows whether or not gelato is included? I am going with a group of 39 people and would like to be able to tell them if they upgrade from the "Drinks on Us" Package to the "Classic" Package that gelato is or is not included. Thanking you kindly for your help!!!
