On our recent Grandeur cruise we were in an F1 and the nice IT guy just gave us WiFi for extra devices without a charge 😊. Quite right too tbh as it’s a bit ridiculous to only allow one device as standard on an all inclusive cruise

W weren’t concierge but we just visited the IT chap on Grandeur and he gave us extra log ins with no problem and no extra charge 😉

Yes we found plenty of places to sit on the upper deck and it’s quieter and you can look out to sea ( this was on Grandeur in Feb in the Caribbean. The shaded cabanas in deck 11 were either empty with items left on, or occupied by elderly people fast asleep 😂

Sounds ridiculous ! We did our first ever cruise in Feb ( on Grandeur) and we organised our own flights to Miami from LHR. So we could choose when to travel. Also had an unexpected advantage of not having to be herded onto a bus to get to/ from the port . We just got an Uber . It was particularly nice on disembarking day as we sat quietly having a coffee while everyone else got called to leave the ship and we didn’t leave until about 9.10am -in the last group to leave .
Hope you get this resolved to your satisfaction. We had 3 big suitcases !

Palm Island was so gross! Couldn't wait to leave
Glad you agree - Regent really need to remove it from their excursion choices

We book on Tuesday and De Palm was on my list. I think I'll reconsider.
I would if I were you 😂. We couldn’t wait to get back on the ship !

Don’t do the De Palm island excursion in Aruba - we did it earlier this month and it was a horrible grotty place !

Weather was a bit chillier when we boarded 5 Feb . Fabulous ship 🚢

We got $1000 as new to Regent - it was quite hard to spend it . A few trips to the spa and some purchases in the shop although stock was very limited on Grandeur last week . Was nice to use in the spa - it’s so expensive in there , I wouldn’t have gone without the OBC - but was a lovely treat

I’m excited for tonight’s deck party and love all the evening singing and entertainment so far . Our safe has plenty of room for a laptop btw 😊.
Agree with you about the lamb chops but we found the lobster bisque watery and very much lacking any depth of flavour . Chacun a son goût as they say 😊

I’ve been on three of the ships and I don’t recall having to hold down the button for the hair dryer. Ask your cabin attendant if the other kind is available.
I did request another hairdryer and that’s the only thing I’ve been refused so far ! The curly cable is also so tightly curled that it constantly pulls the dryer out of the wall socket .

We have been on board less than 1.5 hours … doing a tour of every deck .. we have already had lunch inn2 different locations . Then coffee in coffee connection and we’ve barely scratched the surface 😂.

Indeed.
What about the clever camera work and the outside shots as the second act starts.
Yes awesome and he does that live every show apparently!

I went to see that last week in London too ! And yes Nicole was fabulous and so was the male lead 😂

Thanks - any idea of rough cost ? As we are doing our own travel . Maybe could use our on board credit ?
-
Can you book these tours once on board ?

We are going on our first ever cruise - feb 2024 ( from UK) … on Grandeur - agree it’s expensive … will let you know what it’s like 😂

Hmm I always wondered why g&t’s I have at home are better and fizzier than I often get in restaurants and bars - this must be the reason ! I always thought they were using large bottle of tonic that have gone flat .
Yes they really should keep the mixers refrigerated. Might have to ask for my tins of tonic to be served separately in an ice bucket !

There are often guest performances, such as a comic, magician, or solo artist, and the production team members might perform individually or in small groups. If you’re lucky, the cruise director will bring a local act on board on nights you don’t leave a port until late (not sure if this happens anymore post-shutdown).
I’m pretty sure each production show only runs once per cruise segment.
My question—where are people seeing this list of shows?

AvidtravlerIf you search for a particular cruise and go to Itinerary then scroll past cabins and itinerary you finds Shows.
Thank you ! Sounds great !
I followed the instructions of the post higher up in this thread as to where to find the shows ⬆️

That’s really interesting thanks - I found four shows listed for our February cruise . Having never been on a cruise before , how does this work on a 12 night cruise ? Do the four shows just re- run , so 3 times each ? Or is there a different kind of performance every night for the 12 nights ? Thanks 😀

Do they have caffeine free Pepsi on board .. I don’t do very well with caffeine 😊
laundry

We were on grandeur in Feb and the laundry service was amazing . I asked for most things not to be tumble dried . Everything came back perfect , on hangers or wrapped in cute little parcels like a gift ! We went home with virtually no washing to do . Was one of the highlights of our cruise 😂
