I like heavy cream in my coffee--it only takes just a little per cup--so I carry on a small carton and have never had a problem.
-
I've walked to Fish Fry (only one time), Junkanoo Beach, Graycliff several times by myself and never felt afraid. I guess I'm naive/stupid  but I'm planning on walking to Graycliff again in a week to get some cigars for my husband.

I am SURE there is some master plan!
Yes, and it's a very clever one. Carnival won't ever have to buy anymore platinum/diamond gifts. Their supply will never dwindle --just keep recycling the ones we leave behind.

i have used many on the computer or phone to book a cruise or pay for excursions. have not used them on board yet. can you put them in yourself at the kiosks? or does it have to be done by guest services.
You can do it at the kiosks.

We had a M&G on the Carnival Splendor Journeys cruise (5/26/16) and it was great. We had snacks and free drinks for an hour. Lemonade and water was provided too. No entertainment but everyone just sat around and talked. :)

It worked in February but when I tried it two weeks ago, it didn't. I was on a nine day cruise and I tried every day. They must have found a way to block it somehow because it worked off the ship.

Just off the Splendor and didn't receive any strawberries--just a plate of some type of little desserts. No chocolate or strawberries. Letter says chocolate delight. I just happened to be there when they were being delivered and said no thanks. They would have gone untouched.

Do you keep your S&S cards? I have started my collection and am missing a couple from when I first started sailing and was wondering if there was anyway I can get a reprinted card from my past cruises. Any information is greatly appreciated!
I have tried to save all 30 of mine but lost one between the ship and the parking lot. I spoke to several people at Carnival and was told they can't do it. :( so I made my own. Luckily, my daughter was on the same cruise so I cut and pasted.

There is a waiting list but they would have to put down a deposit which is refunded if they don't get a cabin. This is what I was told by Carnival and what indeed happened to me.

Like I said before, call your PVP and ask. There is an automatic 2 day grace period. There is a forced cancel at midnight on the second day. Just because more people gave a different answer than I did doesn't mean they are correct either. :) Have a nice day.
-
I have never heard of a grace period that is automatically granted. I hope no one takes your answer as definitive.
If someone takes your bad advice, they may look to track you down when their cruise gets cancelled.
Bad advice? Not worried about that at all. I have been on 30 Carnival cruises so I do know what I am talking about. Call your PVP and ask.
-
It doesn't automatically cancel at midnight. You get a couple of days grace period.

Very important to please make sure that your data roaming is off!!

Call them back. There should be a note in your booking. Worked for me. I called and they transferred me to the Upgrade Fairy department. Good luck.

The wine flows less than you think, and it's the house brand. More than likely the soda in the can costs the cruise line more than the wine they pour.
I've done two Chef's Tables and the wine did flow freely and it wasn't house brands.

I buy EB and save a seat for the other person/persons in my party. I used to buy EB for all but it was a Southwest agent who told me that I only needed to buy one EB. I'm pretty sure they already know about seat saving.

It will be shown in the bars plus you can watch in your room if the game is on a major network.

Just got off the Breeze yesterday. I went to designated area at 6 am and there wasn't any line at all for my deck. Walked right up and picked up all 8 bottles that we bought in port. First time flying out after a cruise though and didn't like having to repack them in our checked luggage. It took a few minutes curbside--just a minor PIA.

My May cruise price didn't go down but I was able to move from Riviera to Lido for $1. :)
-
Not sure when it was done, but Fascination has Waterworks and Serenity now. Enjoy your cruise!

I've actually been called on the way to the ship and offered an upgrade by Carnival! I took it--inside to a balcony at no charge. :)

The Sail & Sign card is prettier. :)
Jacksonville Port Parking
in Florida Departures

Other than saving a dollar, what would be the benefits of prepaying parking at the Port of Jacksonville? Do you get to bypass a line with prepaid parking? Prepaid for a four day cruise is $66.74 and total for same day pay is $68. Thanks.
