  1. Well if you are expecting an announcement this year or next year sorry to disappoint you but you are not going to get any. They set sail for 2020, that means that until 2019 they are not going to reveal anything. I think its something weird because they are taking about 3 years from steel cutting to inauguration and seems more than double the built time than a regular cruise. Why? I don't know. I hope that they take time to make a premium product as MSC did when they decided to conquest they USA Market

  2. I am Diamond with Royal Caribbean and I have a YC suite for easter and a b2b for summer both on MSC Seaside. I reserved for a Yacht Club on easter last year and was the best experience that I had on my almost 30 cruises so far. WE got a Suite for the same price than a regular balcony ar RCL. I remember seen guest dressed up for formal nights so you are not going to feel out of place and you are going to see some $$$, the Seaside its a beautiful ship.

  3. I have a b2b cruise for June the price that we got it for 2 adults and 2 kids was 8,000 on the YC, if you book it separately it will be more than 12,000 the way to book it its to ask for more than 10 days so you will get the 14 days itineraries and cabins (not all cabins are available and what its available its not the best) I call them as a black member trying to change the cabin and at the beginning they told me yes but the system said no and then she suggested me to split the booking into 2 seven days and the price skyrocket so was better to live it like that. All in all there is not a bad suite at YC

  4. Just booked the Aurea suite at the aft of the ship overlooking the new Miami pool. Balcony looked awesome and was a slightly bigger room than the YC deluxe suite. After debating for a few days I quickly called back and switched my choice to the 16th deck YC deluxe suite! Its my husband myself and 2 daughters 11, and 13. We have been on NCL SKY 3 times in the owners suite and loved our pampered butler experience!! Plus the food and privacy in the YC must be better....... Can't wait to experience a yacht club. We have never been on NCL with a Haven choice so this will be interesting. I just wish YC option came with free dinners in the specialty area! Oh well, looking forward to our June 2018 cruise! Only thing I am worried about is noise on deck 16 with all the restaurants there.... opinions??

Hi Linda we have the same issue for our March cruise we have booked an AFT suite and an YC cabin on deck 16 we have 2 daughters also 8 & 6 but the interesting fact its that we are going to be B2B in June on the YC so we will probably cruise together...

  5. Just received some details from MSC UK re the size of the Aft Suite, same as on our booking, overall Module area 26 Sq metres (280 sq feet) Cabin 22 (236 sq feet) Bathroom 4 (43 sq feet) Balcony 14 Sq metres (150 sq feet)

Shower in Bathroom, 2 lower beds (usually made up as a Double) and a Double Sofa bed.

No mention of chairs or Table on the Balcony though in the details.

Thanks a lot for the update, the Balcony its HUGE so with that space will fit the chairs, table an a pair of chaise lounges. Im leaning to cancel my YC and Keeping the AFT, thanks again.

  6. I booked a year ago an AFT corner on deck 14 port side and also a Yacht Club suite just in case.... My sailings is in march so on December I will decide what to take after seen the real facts. My heart its inclined to the AFT and I really want to keep this but im not sure that they are not going to spoil it at the end. Anyway we have a b2b unit on june on the YC so probably we will keep AFT just to compare both suites.

Seen at the pics in my minds must be a really big unit, Im not expecting 2 bedrooms but I hope a lot of space because they just have 2 units on the aft and the elevator between them so must be a really nice one....

  7. To avoid this problem for our march cruise I have 2 units a corner AFT and a Yatch Club reservation, after they devele the ship then im going to decide which one to keep but I know that there is going to be more surprises from now till the first booking. Seems that they don't want the other lines to copy them so they have a mystery around the ship that I know that until the last minute there is going to be surprises some good, some not so.

  8. We had the Photo package on april at the Divina and was Amazing we got 100 photos for 99 bucks and at the end of the cruise when we were doing the checkout there was a women complaining because her 3 sons took some pics and she want to get them but were 40 dollars per photo and she said that were really nice but she can't afford it.

  9. I did the Divina last easter and canceled a balcony on the Navigator but I did it because the Balcony at Navigator was more expensive than a Yacht Club suite and we had the time of our life at the Divina. We enjoyed so much that we booked a b2b on YC for summer next year. But same unit and same price I think that I will choose Royal Caribbean.

When we were crossing the ship to walk to Le Muse Restaurant the ship seems crowded and we thanked to book a YC Suite, on that bubble all was a paradise.

  10. Im Diamond on Royal Caribbean, we were at Divina last month we enjoyed so much our YC Suite that we booked 2 weeks for summer and one week for spring all of them on Seaside. Was hard for us to cancel RCL but in the end we got a YC suite for less than a balcony on Royal Caribbean so we jump ships.

  11. In Grand Cayman we didn't got priority embarkation as YC guest but on the other ports there was a YC Concierge with a sign that scorted us to a private screen area to re enter the ship or to the front of the line and that was AMAZING. I remember a very long line in Cozumel and he took us to the front of the line an very politely he asked for room for us because we were YC members that was neat.

  12. I booked an AFT suite and im anxious to know the final layout, 2 cabin per floor seems very tempting and Im hopping for a big L shape balcony and a bigger room but on the other side I was at the YC on the Divina last week and I was trying to get some inside information but seems that she knows less than us. At the end she told me to book the last YC available for 4 just in case, the booking its for march 24 so we will have until January to decide which one to keep and I really want to keep the AFT I still have the hope that they make it right (something special)

  13. Thanks for the review, we are going to sail on YC in less than 3 weeks and this review makes me a little bit more anxious. Its the first time that we are going to be on a suite so this makes even more special the cruise. I originally had a booking on Royal Caribbean for a regular balcony but found the YC suite on the Divina for the same price than a regular balcony and that was the perfect excuse that I was looking to jump the boat. Got the Black Card as they matched my status on Royal Caribbean and all in all we are just counting the days....

  14. More photos from Ben Souza, from today`s visit.

    Aft Cabins

This windows just to the left and right of the elevator shaft I though were hallway views out but now looking at the new deck plans they look to be part of the Aft cabins or am I reading to much into these new deck plans (https://www.msccruisesusa.com/en-us/Cruise-Ships/MSC-Seaside/Deckplan.aspx) ?

I have am Aft suite for march and im in the same way trying to form the pic of that room. It must be a big room because its just two suites per level so its the elevator and our room and the balcony must have space for two chaise lounges

  15. Im going to sail the YC at Divina on april and booked Seaside AFT Balcony for next year and im very happy and very aware of what I am doing. 1,000 less for a suite that its 40% bigger, Im going to have an L wrapper balcony, the sound of the wake (priceless for me) 2 massages, drinks, access to a private area, a exclusive restaurant for breakfast any time dinning

  16. I think this boils down to personal preference. I have sailed on the divina in an aft and in YC. I realize I'm in the minority but I did not find the YC over the top. It was nice- very nice- but not exceptional. Based on the drawings for seaside, I'd positively choose the aft wrap around balcony over YC- especially at those price points.

Hi guys I just made my booking for an AFT suite on 15 floor. The braking point was the space of the cabin the Aurea Suite has 330 sq. ft. and the YC1 only has 230 Sq. Ft. so with this numbers in hand was better to have a 40% bigger room for a 40% cheaper. I know that the YC it is really nice but also the Aurea has some nice perks. Thanks to all for the advices and I think that until they don't publish all the floor planes and cabin layout booking this kind of units are a gamble, you can win or loose.
