Can you get the additional Latitude point if you book through a travel agent or transfer the book in to an TA after booking thru NCL.

We see an insider offer that looks promising but not sure we will get the additional point when booking through an TA instead of using NCL.

My cousin was able to order pepperoni pizza for her daughter and another was able to get spaghetti with meat sauce. They requested the pasta since the only thing off the kids menu he was able to eat was the chicken noodle soup...even a 19 month can get tired of that after a few meals.

Teppanyaki - fried rice. If you go hear, make sure they are not too heavy on the soy sauce. I felt the chef ruined the food because he put too much on the foods. We did ask him to easy up on the soy sauce but most of the food was already cooked.

Moderno-the grilled pineapple was good and all the meats cooked were very tasty.

La cucina- everything especially the bread.

I really enjoyed the painkiller and honey lemonade. The caesar salads were great.

As far as steak for lunch, depends if they are using the new or old menu. The new Cagney's lunch menu has no steak. They changed it to more seafood type offerings, a double thick pork chop, they vastly improved the roast beef sandwich, burger is now a brie burger (very good), and modified desserts slightly. If you do a search you can find the new vs. old menu.

 

 

 

Not sure where the Gem is on menus though. Steak still there for breakfast.

What kind of daily treats are available? I know you can get cookies and petit fours.

Does anyone know who the butlers are on the Gem. We have 2-2 bedroom suites on deck 11.

I think the room was well kept and we were happy. There are a few minor things but nothing I would really complain. There is some rust by the balcony door, the toilet seat had some scratches on it that at first I thought it was dirty. The inside drawers are a little dirty but I didn't really use them. You are near the service elevators so it might be noise and crowded on the first day when they are delivering the luggages. We didn't use the balcony too much since we had a lot of rain. I think overall it was a good room.

We just got off the explorer and in 8266. Overall the room was nice and. The room steward was Stephen and he was great and attentive. There is some rust by the door so if you so get any rain like we did the carpet near the balcony door will be damp. The carpet was nice and clean. We had a chip on the glass coffee table which we had removed from the room since we have a 4 year old and didn't want to take a chance that she cut herself by accident. There were enough space and hangers for us. Unfortunately, the room still has a tube tv.

The room definitely has some wear and tear but overall it was a pleasant experience.

Can someone tell me what the cost would be for a 3 and 4 year old? Would they be free or at a reduced rate?
