Looking for advice regarding getting from Tianjin port to Beijing and back by taxi & bullet train.  Is it easy to do on our own?  Staying over in hotel for 1/2 nights.

Also any recommendations for tour companies in Beijing - would like to visit the Great Wall, Forbidden City, Summer Palace and Temple of Heaven

we are also looking to do the same sort of tour independently and have currently looked at Viator and tour-beijing.com - it's a minefield though as it's very difficult to know which reviews to trust.  However our travel agent has recommended Viator but we think its very expensive for port transfer ($169 each way) The trips they offer are quite reasonable when you speak to them compared to the prices online.  Waiting for the ship to get back to us re private transfer price to be taken in on first day & return either day 2 or 3.
