Also had the dark purple last month for Epic sailing from Canaveral. I found them very hard to read as the black printing of the cabin number on the dark color seemed washed out. Solved by also attaching tags gotten from the porter at the pier. (Figured if I was having trouble seeing the cabin number, the ship's crew may also have trouble). Our luggage arrived around 3PM.

Since they are watering down/eliminating perks for us loyal gamblers, I wonder if they will give out more/higher value cabins to compensate for this "wonderful news".
OK.....a girl can dream.

While docked in Bermuda the casino is open from 9PM to 5AM
Have a wonderful cruise. Bermuda is lovely and easy to get around.

Casino guests (CAS invited or not) are invited to cash in their points. The hosts have no idea when you are done playing, so normally would never touch your points (in case you wanted to use them for free play). And if you want them to recognize your play with additional comps, you need to talk with them. You also need to work with them if you want to covert your points to $250 or $500 CASNext certificates for future cruises.
Thank you. I will be sure to see one of the hosts on the last evening.

Just piping-in:
The casino hosts on NCL are rather indifferent, like you are bothering them; and if you don't approach them (on the last day), you aren't getting anything wiped-off your folio or added in on-board credit for quick use (as the shops close that evening).
That said, the casino staff and pit bosses are excellent and mostly all engaging.
It used to be if you booked through CAS, any credits were automatically given by the staff the last night. I remember playing the last night and noticed my points were back to zero. Has this changed? I don't want to miss out.

Thanks to those of you kind enough to provide helpful info.

Check and see if your credit card has been charged. If so.....congratulations. You got the upgrade! Enjoy your cruise.

In Spice H2O, you have one side in the aft section (starboard) on deck 16.
There is also a side somewhere on deck 15.I don't think that smoking is currently allowed in POSH. I think (not sure) that smoking was eliminated there after the refurb.
Bummer if I need to go to Spice H2O. Was hoping Posh still allowed smoking or they made other accommodations elsewhere within the haven.. (There's got to be a few other smokers looking for an allowed area,)

Are you in the Haven?
Yes, I will be in the haven next year (March)

No lectures please....
I have been reading conflicting reports on whether smoking is still permitted in Posh. Can someone please clarify for me.
I "assume" there will be other smokers than myself looking for an allowed area.
Thanks to all for your help.

Regarding Epic/Posh
I read somewhere smoking was no longer permitted at Posh. Can someone please confirm?
Also, any info on other Epic smoking areas is much appreciated.

Icewine is made by pressing the grapes after the first frost. This intensifies the sugar content resulting in a very sweet wine. Pairs well with desert.
I have never seen a true icewine listed, usually only something like moscato which is made from moscato grapes aand musch less sweet than true icewine.

Wow, both the red and white. Maybe they serve it in a beer stein? 🙂
Any thoughts on the icewine? I don't pretend to be super-knowledgeable about wine and that's one I haven't tried.

I'm still not clear what the $217.00 Prepaid Service Charges are for. My cruise is completely paid in full. Prepaid Gratuities vs Prepaid Service Charges....What is the difference?
Thank you in advance!
Gratuities are added to the beverage and/or dining packages. Service charges are the daily charge automatically added for staff excluding butler and concierge.

You can also download money, charged to your room, at the slot machines. There is a 3% fee added unless sapphire (I think, could be pearl) or above.
Max charge used to be $2000 per day.

Just an FYI Not sure if the spirit is the same but I had a front facing balcony on the jewel. The door is a bulkhead door and VERY heavy. I could not open it myself, especially when underway. Someone had to come and open it for me. When open, it had a heavy hook and eye latch to the outside side partition. Someone would come and close it before we left the dock. I would not get this set up again myself. YMMV
The aft balconies are the typical sliders, same as on the sides.

I had no problem applying my FCC to gratuities via. phone with CAS consultant. Received the amenity confirmation within a minute. Easy.

The one time I attempted to give the butler some cash at the beginning of the cruise he told me ... no, no, you take care of me at the end of your cruise. Ever since then I have only given the tip on the last evening.YMMV

Stayed in 11016 and it was perfect. Close to the forward elevators and under the library/card room. Very quiet. Get a suite in this location and you cant go wrong.
