I do believe it is true. I just returned on Saturday April 30 on the Escape, here is my experience. I packed 3 bottles of win in my check luggage, I fully intended to pay the $15 per bottle corkage fee. As I exited the shuttle bus, I was immediately asked to leave my bag with the handlers, so I did. As I walked into the terminal I saw a lady at a desk with signage to declare your wine you were bringing on, I then realized that I had forgot about the wine, I asked her if I needed to do anything, she said, no, they will find it. I never saw a specific charge on the bill , so I just let it ride.

Sailing on Escape April 23 with a balcony guarantee cabin, wondering if anyone has ideas where the obstructed view cabins are located? This is our 6th cruise, but first balcony, rolled the dice on the guarantee balcony.

Looks like we are not doing the Unlimited Beverage package, wondering about what the drink prices look like. We are sailing on Escape April 23. Will have 2-3 beers a day and maybe a couple of drinks.

Thanks for the great report about Dizbul and Progreso. Sounds like your family had a good day there. That may be the plan will do, Dizbul and around town shopping and exploring. I am concerned about the longer tour to Uxmal using up all of our time. Maybe we will come to this port again and see what we didn't see this time.

Thanks for the info about the Mayan ruins. I still don't know which one to chose: Dizbul. or Uxmal. I hate to be a bus for 3hours total when I could be experiencing things in Progresso. Will have to think on it more and maybe make a decision there in port.

We will be in Progreso on May 4th with the Fantasy. I have figured out that I want to visit Uxmal while we are there. From what I have read it is great. However, I still want to have a little time to get a quick look at Progreso and do a little shopping.

I am know that Uxmal will take almost all of our time. We are scheduled to arrive at 7am and leave at 4pm. All of the reviews of Dzbulchan seem to be positive. What is there to see besides the one landmark building that is in every photo? I know it would give us a taste of Mayan ruins but is it worth it?
