  1. We just got off the Epic yesterday (1/5/19). We bought the app for $10 per device. Messaging worked good, calling others on the ship was spotty at best, but calling home with the app was surprisingly good.

Also worth noting my kids had the "Social Media" package. They both have iPhones. iMessaging worked great both with people on the ship, as well as at home. They also were able to use Face-time audio for calls

  2. Just to update anyone who might be interested, I got an answer to this question by logging out of the app and clicking on the "Supported Ships" screen. It appears they have added more ships recently, but have not updated their website to match. List of supported ships, per the app:

Dawn, Jewel, Star, Sun, Pearl, Gem, Sky, Epic, Breakaway, Jade, Getaway, Escape, Bliss

    Hope this helps somebody!

  3. We're sailing the Epic over New Years, so a few weeks ago I downloaded the Cruise Norwegian app on my iPhone. As soon as I logged in the app informed me it wasn't compatible with the Epic, and i wasn't really able to do anything with it, so I downloaded the older iConcierge app.

The new app was updated in itunes store about a week ago. Now I can see all my vacation details, book excursions, drink packages, etc... despite the NCL website still listing it as not being compatible with Epic. Wondering, if it actually compatible on board now, or if they simply added the ability to use it for pre-cruise activity?
