  1. I have a Easy drink package which includes water, does anyone know if they will take out the minibar items in the rooms and replace with all water and not charge for minibar prices? You think they would since bottled water is include in the Easy drink package.

    Anyone experience t his before?

Hi Cruiser2019 We booked through a TA and they have told everywhere we are booked that we are on our honeymoon. (we have a day or so in Miami then 3 days in New York after the cruise) our guy Lee said that there was more chances of upgrades if we informed the cruise, hotels and flights.

So far the only upgrade we have gotten is the cruise.

So I would tell them! You have nothing to lose!

That's awesome, I didn't book through a TA, I booked direct. Maybe I'll send a nice email lol. I'll also try for the hotels as we are staying 1 night in Ft Lauderdale and 1 night in Miami precruise.

Speaking of cabin changes, I have been given a free upgrade on the MSC Armonia.

They have bumped us from a balcony to a suite which is great.

However, my TA has said that my upgrade is because it's my honeymoon and I need to bring my marriage licence with me or risk losing the upgrade.

I am leave the night of my wedding for the cruise.....

I have been told that I can get a copy of the licence, but it won't be notarized and a letter from my celebrant confirming the marriage. But I am not sure if that will be enough.

So not 100% if I will actually get the upgrade :S

Hi Dear Maria, when you booked your cruise, did you just tell MSC that it was your honeymoon? my husband and I are also doing our honeymoon cruise on the Seaside in April and was wondering if there's any chance of getting a free upgrade :P

We are currently booked on a bella balcony.

  4. First time cruiser here! I'm booked on the Seaside for April 2019 and it includes an Easy drink package under the "All In" promotion (also includes wifi). I was wondering if it's possible to upgrade the included Easy drink package to the Premium package (for a fee of course). Reason being is I will enjoy more drinks from premium category ie. more variety of cocktails, margaritas etc. whereas my husband is satisfied with the easy offer (mainly a beer drinker, miller lite). I'm guessing if one package is upgraded, both will have to be.

Has anyone done this yet before I make the call to see if it's possible?

Depending on the outcome of pricing and what not, I may be better off just keeping the Easy package and just buying the "Premium" drinks I wish to have!
