I’m excited as I board the Allure this Sunday. Will be my 5th sailing on Allure.

Hoping there will be a few less children due to school already started in most states.

As of this morning there are still over 110 cabins available online, most OV Balcony.

love also if it’s not a full sailing.

My check in was  3 weeks ago, mine was validated after 12 days, my GF was just validated yesterday, so 22 days. 

For my Apex cruise in April I got the rejection email 5 days after my cruise ended.

Oops! Someone’s sleeping on the job.

This was my 50th cruise in April. So far the BEST cruise ever!

Everything was outstanding!

I have stayed in both CP and BW balconies several times and love them.

They sometimes can be a little warmer, or less airflow.

I also have done OV balcony on Oasis class ships but still prefer CP or BW.

My upcoming Allure cruise next month is a CP balcony.

I’m just happy cruising, any balcony will do.

My check in is in a few days.  Since the restart of cruising, I have only sailed on Celebrity.

I had to upload photo of vaccine card, passport info and upload my photo.

What documents are needed for Royal check in so I’m prepared, as I will be checking in friend thats coming from another state.

My move up offer expired  a few days ago, still says pending, no charges to credit card.

Today is Thursday afternoon and I sail on Apex Saturday...what gives?

I cruised twice during the week of Christmas and the week after.

NEVER again...maximum passengers and tons of kids, bored without waterslides and other activities.  Oh yay...lets take a driving vacation to Mt. Rushmore bored!

Not enjoyable at all.

Is this available on Apex, wasn’t sure it if was on certain ships as a trial or fleet wide. Took this screenshot from the Celebrity site yesterday.

It wasn’t on Edge a few years ago.

This is from cruisemapper. There are other sites with port schedules that are the revised schedule also.

Sometimes the cruiseline won’t tell you until really close to sail date about port changes.

Looks like day 2 that was a sea day in now Nassau, along with 7 other ships.

Can we say CROWDED!  The port can handle only 8 ships max.

Day 3 was  supposed to be SJ, now sea day.

It is happening to all my friends that have cruised in the last 2+ month with the port changes.

My Apex cruise for April 9th is showing Nassau also instead of San Juan.

There still are a handful of ships still on the port schedule for SJ  including the Symphony.

I have been to SJ many times and unless on an excursion, given the late afternoon/evening arrival, do not feel safe walking the streets downtown after dark.

Last few times we were 1st off and it was already 4:30.

I will just be happy to be on a cruise again.

Will call Celebrity to make sure it doesn’t affect price since I booked an Infinite Verandah at $1800 for the two of us, and now it’s $3600.

I am actually excited about having a huge bed and cabin to myself, friends from another state are flying to Florida to cruise with me.

I got a great price when I booked almost 2 years ago, so a solo fare or solo cabin would be a lot more expensive than I paid.

I am sailing on the Apex in the spring.

Already made final payment.

Husband not going now, so I am cruising solo.

Do I need to let Celebrity know or just tell them during check in at the port?

This was just emailed to me today.

I am booked on Allure for December.

Happy that it will probably not be amped for now.

They did change their website, taking off the whole amped description, also changed the deck plans back to the current state of the ship.

It will be just like the airlines if they say to wear a mask.

I have flown 3 times in the last 30 days, on 3 different airlines.

Every one requires to board, but after takeoff, while eating and drinking, not required.

There were quite a few that kept their mask off the rest of the flight after takeoff.

The flight attendants did suggest to those  to wear a mask but only tell you once and then leave you alone. They do not push their limits and enforce it. 
 

Down here it means something else to us Floridians.
 

As of today, their site is still showing the full amp features to entice future cruisers.

The deck plans also show the upgrades and changes.

I am booked on the  Allure for December and am fine without the changes.

I have  sailed all the Oasis class ships multiple times and really don’t care but they should not miss lead people. Take it off your site if it’s not happening.

I just returned yesterday from my Symphony cruise.

I took my electric 13 inch desk fan.  Made my sleeping perfect, as I need the white noise and air movement to sleep.

Here are the 2 responses from my inquiries to RCL prior to my cruise.

I turn my phone off when we get to our cabin and it goes in the safe, doesn’t get turned on until the cruise is over.

 I tell my family if someone dies pack them in extra ice until I get home.

Gold is the lowest, starting status.

Yes they can board with you.

There is no lounge for gold.

It will just be general seating if you arrive before 10-10:30.

Once they start boarding and have called all the top tier folks then you can board at your leisure.

You could walk it, just beware of speeding cars, and taxis. There are some sidewalks.

If you have a lot of luggage send the person renting and have them pick you up afterwards.
