AHHHHHHH (that is me screaming for joy)!!!

My husband and I are individuals that love the warm climates (Caribbean, Mediterranean, etc). However, last summer we went to Alaska on Quantum (I was initially very skeptical). Shockingly, it turned out to be in our top five cruises (we have gone on 24 cruises to date). It did not hurt that we had the most perfect weather...
I would probably give Alaska a try.

Thank you everyone for the very candid responses. I think we are going to pass on the card.

It's not a great card IMO. I have it and only use it for RCI purchases (2% reward) and then only use the points for "free" cruises. (they're effectively worth twice the value of the other options) I am likely to cancel it after I get the points for one more free cruise. There are better options, and having a card I only use for cruises is just not useful.
Thank you for the reply. We are trying to determine if it is worth it to get this card. I thought maybe if the OBC and/or stateroom upgrades were worthwhile, then perhaps I would go for it.

Greetings!
I am curious...for those of you that have the above CC, have you found it to be beneficial? What types of OBC can you earn? Have you ever received a stateroom upgrade? If so, how does it work?
Thank you!

That menu looks fantastic! We certainly did not have anything like that on Harmony a couple of weeks ago!

Hello!
Unfortunately, I do not have any advice for you, as I too have been trying to contact them for the past couple of weeks (cruising on 27th May). If anyone does have advice, I am all ears.
Thank you!

I am so glad to hear the positive reviews about Harmony, as we will be boarding in 12 days.
Happing Sailing everyone!

Greetings!
I have seen the "Royal Burger" served in the Main Dining Room. There are also burgers in the Windjammer as well.

I would love to hear more, as we will be boarding Harmony on 27 May 2023!
Thank you!

I believe someone is making a mistake,

When over 18 you keep status but your own points. D you can’t advance to D+ till your nts catch up
I totally understand the sentiment. However, both of my children were reassigned as Emerald.

This happened to both of my daughters as well. When you are a minor, by default, you are the status of your parents. However, once you turn 18 years old, you are your actual status (based on how many points you have accumulated). Now this took place over eight years ago for both of my daughters.
The only surprising part of your post, is the fact that she was able to be Diamond on the current cruise...

We are thinking of booking Wonder for next year - thank you for your observations.

Yes, there is still reserved seating areas for Suites, Pinnacle, and Diamond + for the theater, Aqua show, and Ice skating.
Last night at both the Theater and Awua show people without reservations were put into a waiting line. Since we had reservations I do not know if that applied to Suite, Pinnacle, and or Diamond Plus as well.
There is also a large section of reserved seating for The Key passengers adjacent to the area for Suites, Pinnacles, & Diamond +.
In my opinion, the Key has devalued this benefit for those of us in those categories. Full disclosure, we are also Diamond + in addition to sailing in a suite.
Thank you very much @DaKahuna. Yes, we will be sailing Harmony in May and are Diamond Plus and was just wondering if we needed to make reservations. Perhaps I will anyway.
Thank you for taking the time to "bring us all along" as I am reading every word you type. Continue to enjoy your cruise!

Greetings!
I know that you are in a suite, however I have a question: is there still reserved seating for Suites, Diamond Plus and Pinnacle on Harmony? Did you make reservations for the Ice Skating Show, or were you allowed in due to status?
Thank you!

Hello!
I had a balcony guarantee last summer in Alaska on Quantum of the Seas. My parents also did a balcony guarantee. Our cabin was phenomenal, and there's... not so much (they were looking at the life boats). It's just a chance you take.

On Quantum last month, iFly was $29/pp and North Star was $19/pp.

I am on this cruise too! I will certainly say "hello" if I run into you. Congratulations on your marriage - my very first cruise was my honeymoon 22 years ago and we have been smitten with cruising every since (this will be our 23rd cruise - all with Royal). BTW you said your friend will take you to the port on Sunday...the cruise leaves on Monday😀

Any updates to the August 15th sailing?
We are on the 15th August sailing and there have been no updates at all. Once they sent out the "final itinerary" that was it. I will not allow it to ruin my vacation.

You notice that it has Giovanni's Table listed, but there is no Giovanni's Table on Quantum.

I too was wondering the same thing and asked about this in a post I started yesterday. I am more concerned with the actual menu - as the menu posted is outdated.

We have done the Taste of Royal on the Ovation last year and enjoyed it a lot. We also will be on the Quantum starting on 8-22 for a B2B and we’re thinking about doing it again.
Thank you so much! My concern was that the sample menu showed a serving from Giovanni's and I know that ship does not have a Giovanni's Table. I think I will give it a try!
Thanks everyone!

The menu in the app for the current sailing is likely the most up to date and somewhat accurate.
Thank you Biker19, that's what I was afraid of...

Greetings! I am confused because if you had an ace then you had the second highest straight - which should have beat the dealers straight.
