This was my memory too, as I posted prior but others have chimed in to say they did not experience this so I began to wonder if my recall was wrong or I was crazy (maybe both) or if instead it has changed since I sailed them. Hmmmm
You're not alone! I have PTSD every time I hear the name Simon.

We did Norwegian and Celebrity for Alaska and Norwegian was terrible! Their cruise director was loud and always hawking things to buy and on the PA all hours. I hated it. Never again.

We hiked Deer Mountain.

You can do the snorkeling.

I have an 11 yo who will be cruising with us, and I plan on letting the kiddo choose own activities on the ship. What's the best way to keep in touch?

I have to agree with Sha

Thank you for agreeing to come on board Cruise Critic and provide us with some answers and insights. I appreciate you making time in your busy schedule to do so.
Let me start by saying I'm an avid and loyal Celebrity Cruiser. I always love the onboard experience. I've always felt customer service pre-cruise has been very good, and l think it has been improving even more recently. Bravo!
I am disappointed that Celebrity's attention to information technology (ie their website and mobile app) is lacking. Can you explain why?
I feel that an onboard mobile app with functionality would be a huge boost to the already positive onboard experience.
Is improvement in this area an upcoming priority for you?
Could you elaborate on future planned technology-based innovations that will enhance our overall cruise experience?
Thank you.
I have to agree. Through our own error, we had overlooked a payment due notification and our cruise was subsequently cancelled. That's our fault and we acknowledge that. However, we were in our Cruise Planner booking excursions, and in no way did the website alert us that there was a problem. It feels that the website is difficult to use and not user friendly. I hope Celebrity improves its investment on IT.

Has anyone rented a car in Juneau before? For the four of us the shuttle will cost more than the car rental! Is there an extra expense I'm not considering?

They were fine. On one leg there were no charging stations so just be prepared for older airplanes.

Is there a DVD library onboard or did you bring your own? We're staying in a Sky Suite on the Millennium.

How cold was it? We're doing the same trip in a couple of weeks.

I see it on my confirmation, I'm talking about when I goto "Manage My Reservations"

For those of you booked on a suite on Celebrity, do all four of your perks show? I'm looking at my account and all I see is the prepaid gratuity.

No, it is only RS and above that have laundry included.
The bag offer is much better value for money than sending in items individually. Only send in items you would happily put in a mixed wash at home (no delicates).
I thought that Celebrity only offered a la carte, no bag offers?

Laundry is offered to all passengers, not just suites. The costs are listed on the Celebrity website.
i suspect rhe OP is asking if there is FREE laundry for her trip in a Sky Suite. No.
Thank you, I should've been more clear. This is helpful.

Is laundry offered as part of the Sky Suite? Asking so I'd know what to pack LOL.

Just a note, when we traveled from Seward to Anchorage last Saturday, we were on a bus for 35-40 minutes because the train couldn't pass the river. It was no big deal as they arrange everything for you. Have fun!
