thank you for the info. He will overlap with Capt Been April 17 then on April 24 Capt Been will go on vacation and Capt Toni will be running the show by himself. Looking forward to meeting him on my May 8th FR cruise!

Writing to all 3 couldn't hurt. My response from M. Bayley, which may or may not be true, indicated that Captain Claus would remain employed with RCI. I do realize that it might be incorrect information, but I'm holding out hope that those of us who did write, were not lied to.
While Captain Clause is our all time favorite captain, (and many others, too), I'd suggest letting the dust settle on this type of news before every one starts calling people liars,etc. Perhaps reflecting common decency.

It's Rahul. He got on FR on May 11, 2014 and will probably be on for 4 months.

My problem is solved. After 15min call to RCI seems they amended my booking and changed my booking number. Good if them to tell me :).
So using the new and correct booking number the RCI site is working like a dream . :)

Last night I got a call from RCI asking if it was o.k. to change by booking number, and once that was done, I was able to check in and get my Set Sail Pass. The insanity of this was it took 11 days for their IT/Resolutions staff to figure this out.

You can order them on the website. That is the only way you will be able to get them. They just aren't sending any to the ship for impulse buys, dining room tables, or for that matter, even for staff or officers to send to the room for a special occasion or as is sometimes done, to make up for an issue. No apology bouquets, last minute happy birthdays, formal night flower.
It's the tailor who also worked as the florist - he is now a logo item salesman.
Pre-cruise orders only - as you do - will continue.

I had ordered two of the flower amenities for our 1/12 cruise on the FR. Instead I received 3 six packs of diet coke (the diet coke had been our choice for our first amenity. When I asked about why? I was told no more flowers as an amenity choice.

I like the way Karen does it now. She finds out pretty quickly if a Master leaves early and/or extends their rotation. She as also keeps up to date on when a staff captain has to step up because of a variety of reason. On excel, one you put in the arbitrary 10 week rotation, it would be pretty labor intensive to go back in and re-set the parameters. Just my opinion…..

when we were en EN over Christmas, one of the guests took it upon herself to water those plants and rehang the tinsel that kept falling down. there was one poor pot that was the red headed stepchild.. it was CONSTANTLY being moved from table to the buffet shelf to his desk to.... he was at his wit's end what to do with it.
I was certainly disappointed to learn he wasn't coming up to GR after all. I may have to stalk him at some point....If I can talk DH into jumping ship heheheh

We were just on the Vision for Xmas and New Year and had Capt Ole-Johan Gronhaug for that one cruise. He told us that he would be on the Adventure on January 6, 2013. I believe that Capt Felix Shrecko Ban is now the Captain onboard the Vision.
Since his vacation rotation started 11/2, I thought he'd be back the last week in January. Looks like he came back early.

Story has it on Rhapsody, captian Sindre Borsheim was replaced, as captain Rob told Bobbie that he will rotate with captain Rick Sullivan. I believe that she is going to be dining with him tomorrow, after Ketchikan, so I'll see what she can find out.;)
There are a couple of other ships you have not mentioned that are due for rotation of captains, but until they are confirmed, I won't muddy the water. :)

Thanks for the reply. I just saw a scathing member review about Adventure (which BTW I took it with a grain of salt) but the poster loved Dina. I can't wait to meet her.

I got for two devices and since we were in a suite, I didn't have to pay for it. That being said, it was so good I wouldn't have hesitated to pay for it.
