unreal !!!!!
Here is our temps over the last 5 days on an interior stateroom . In no order!
$200 for no sleep for a solid 4 nights for all 3 of us. We have had 3 cruises in 4 months! And have another in 30 days.
Is this how royal treats their loyal customers !!??? I would have been satisfied with a 25% return. Instead we get another slap in the face with $200.
Because we are in an interior state room instead of a balcony or suite this time.
Room 11 205

Just a few doors down from you on deck 11 and my two rooms are also @ 77. Is there anything we can do about the offer?
I'm not sure yet. We have a # that we deal with directly for diamond members. I'll be calling them.

How do you know it isn't going to be fixed for the next sailing?

I absolutely agree! I don't want anything for free ever, BUT their constant lies from hotel director and horrible attitude and service makes me feel that they should have refunded 4 days per stateroom. My husband and I had heat exhaustion, migraines and are still feeling the effects today. A/C is still NOT fixed and wont be for the next sailing. Not enough $ for the poor folks especially in inside staterooms
We've been the same. And agree with you.

What a joke!!!! We are soooooo upset with royal...

$200. Rebate for 5 days of no sleep.
Our room is still hot. Not as hot as it was but with the door open to the hall it's still 75° from 86 and 89°
Slap in the face from a person who spends tens of thousands a year with royal !!!

I hope we get compensation details today. It's been such a miserable few days. We shouldn't need to sleep with our doors wide open all night long.
My son was woken up several times last night from kids running in the hall because we had to keep the door open.
I know exactly what your sayin....
There is no good place to get a good nights sleep with your family...if it was just me and my wife we could sleep outside or in the diamond lounge.
But there's drunks and parties and music blasting everywhere.
We cruise again in 30 days on symphony and are now talking about cancelling. Depending on how this is handled.

I would recommend closing the fridge. That cool air is generated by a compressor. The compressor generates heat. The overall affect is net gain in heat.
Yep figured that out pretty fast....when the drawer above heated up.

I’m on a balcony cabin, but my sister has 2 inside cabins, and last night they had 81 degress, impossible to get a good sleep.
Were also an inside cabin with virtual balcony...make sure the virtual balcony tv is turned off..!!! We dropped from 86 to 83 just turning that off.! Hall door open all night we are now down to 79.
I even opened up the fridge for a while to get more cool air.

I'm also on this sailing, and a first timer on any sort of cruise...
Between the AC being down the past few days and the near constantly broken ice & water dispensers this week, as a new RC customer, I can't yet say if our group of 4 cabins will return.
As we complain about the lack of cool upstairs in our rooms, I think it's also important to remember that the crew quarters are also reportedly without AC, a much bigger problem down in the bottom of the boat, where there aren't windows to open...
Please be extra kind to the staff aboard the ship this week. I'm sure they're all working as best as they can, and any decisions about refunds or other compensation are coming from much higher than the faces we see around the boat.

Yes....we have many friends who work on the ship. There are a few of them as well that have no a.c.

I am also on the cruise. Not much 2 add except my room numbers which are 11181 and 11 183. Both interior rooms forward. My evening temperature is 83 degrees and has been that way for the past three nights. Those of you who are thinking of bringing fans probably have the right idea. There are also some USB fans that you could probably bring
Best of luck my fellow Cruisers who are stuck in the middle of this hot mess.
11 205 hi neighbor!

I often feel people on this board expect compensation for unreasonable things. I feel the opposite on this thread. 20% doesn’t cut it for me. An 85 degree cabin is unusable. Heat is a migraine tigger for me so I would be miserable.
I hope RCCL does the right thing.
We are hoping too....we are regular cruisers with royal. And bring new clients to them every year. It would be a shame to switch companies.

That's a shame. It's tough to see the kids not enjoying themselves. Hopefully tonight is the last hot night.
We were told that there was going to be a meeting at noon concerning reimbursement. We went down there and were told that the meeting was cancelled.
We did the same...not very happy this cruise

I agree. 20% seems reasonable.
We haven't gotten much sleep either. My daughter doesn't even want to do the flowrider today because she's exusted.
I'm in my room now just checking and it's still at 85.

I'm thinking they should refund us somewhere in the ballpark of 20%.
My son has a fever and it's been hell trying to get any sleep with him.

No AC on Anthem of the Seas

Deck 11 room 205. We are finally at 75.
But it won't go any lower. I'm guessing the outside temp is helping a bit!
