  1. Thinking seriously about taking this in aug or sept. Anyone done it? Anyone intersted in getting an english speaking group together? Do you need a visa? also are the ship excursions in english, or do we need to find private excursions? Also thinking about doing a med. cruise or norway cruise before or after, if anyone is interested.

  2. eat the cereal for breakfast. slimfast with banana and milk and ice for dinner. salad with veggies with low cal dressing on side when I go out. veggies ( celery , carrots, mushrooms, broccoli, cauliflower, all raw) for snacks. water, coffee, tea. low cal lemonade when I need sweet. slimfast calls for 2 shakes and then dinner, but I was never that hungry.

  3. I am happy. down 3 lbs this week. 118. leave for San Juan day after Thanksgiving. May not hit my goal of 115, but am happy I am down 25 lbs since Sept 3. weighed 143 to start. see how I do next Monday on weigh in, then will weigh again on Fri before I leave for vacation. Keep going. You can do it, if I can.

  4. I really needed an incentive to lose this weight. My cruise in 2 weeks gave my this. I was just very determined that I was going to weigh 120 or less for this cruise. Drink lots of water. it will keep you feeling full. If I felt I needed something sweet I would drink 5 calorie lemonade mix. I did use slimfast. If you go back one page you will see my diet. I never varied. If I went out with friends I would order a plain salad with low cal. dressing on the side, and dip my salad. I was unable to do much exersize other than walking due to arthritis in in my hands and wrists. Hopefully, when I get back from my cruise I will be able to try again with the exercise, at least leg and abdominals. good luck! I weigh in Monday.

    I am the same height and weight as you were when you started. I am only down a few pounds so far, but just started exercising. I am hoping to lose at a steady pace. I have 88 days until I cruise. I too would like to be at 115 pounds at sail time (I am 139lbs. right now).

     

    If you would be so kind as to share some details on how you continued to lose weight, I would be most greatful! I could use all the helpful tips you have!!

  6. Rein, would you be open to some cautionary feedback on Slimfast? I'm not against meal replacements, so it's not going to be the usual "you should eat food" rant, but there are some things you should know.

     

    what is your caution?

  7. 5'1 & 123 lbs is teensie tiny.

    Just doesnt seem size 8ish

    Wasnt being mean.

    Didnt take it as mean. Unforunatly all my weight is in my waist. no hips or butt. take small in tops or if pants have some elastic in waist. just bought sz 6 pants yesterday. Hope to get down to 115 by nov. 27.

  8. First time leaving from San Juan.

    We will not be arriving until 2am. Is it possible to hang out at the airport and eat breakfast then go right to the ship?

     

    I have been told by someone who lives in SJ that there is no place to eat or sit after baggage claim. I get in at 6 am, will pick something up at my departure airport and hope to get a coffee on my flight.

  9. please tell what you are doing to lose every week

     

    I am very rigid with my diet. I use slimfast. I make a shake. Ice in a blender, slimfast, a banana, and some instant coffee. 1 cup of raisin bran or granola raisin bran with 1/2 cup of skim milk for breakfast. salad and veggies for supper and at night. water, coffee, and an occasional diet soda. I really need an incentive.
