  1. Thanks, martincath, that was exactly what I was looking for. Our cruise arrives on Saturday, May 23, and is in Victoria from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. so the hours available should be just fine. There are 2 couples in our group so we will split the rental cost and gas. A 15 minute walk is certainly not a problem.

If you have any other pertinent information regarding Victoria or any other aspect of our cruise, feel free to let me know.

    Thanks again,

    Neal

  2. Will be sailing on the Celebrity Infinity and there will be approximately 9100 fellow cruisers in port on that day. The population of Juneau in a 2013 estimate is 33,000 citizens. The 4 ships will increase the number of folks there that day by 28% or a rather healthy hunk of humanity.

Questions: Should we rent a car and take off to Mendenhall Glacier or go with a tour or take public transportation from the dock? What other sites should we set out for, using the above categories of transport? What are the "can't miss" areas?

    Thanks!

  3. We will be docked overnight in Hong Kong on the Legend of the Seas on Sept. 16. As stated above, can we see the Symphony of Lights from the ship? Can you get the FM station on an MP3 player and view/listen simultaneously? If we can see it from the ship, then we won't have to do the harbor cruise the next night (we are flying home the morning of the 18th.)

    Thanks!

Oh, yes, where exactly do we dock?
