Ok so its pretty clear to me that they must have upped the price for Oasis ships to 31.99. Literally yesterday it was 19.99 and I could shoot myself for not booking it then. We just still were not sure and then this morning decided to pull the trigger. Now this! What a bummer. I will not book at 31.99 it does not have the value to us for that price. 

Wow, so we just decided to book this for our Symphony cruise in May. It went from 19.99 per person per day to 31.99 per day from just a day or so ago! What the heck?! This has put it out of range for us to get it now!?

Has anyone used this on symphony yet?

The Key post is pretty saturated so I wanted to ask quickly - for my wife and I for Symphony cruise in May we just booked, would THE KEY be worth it for us? We will not use the flow rider stuff, or rock climbing. For the VIP shows can you book those seats pre-cruise? Is the priority boarding, ports, etc worth the time? 

I wish! 

Well where would be most desirable on this ship to most people to be?

Can I get "The Key" for Symphony May sailing (2019)? 

You all have been great help. I guess my final cabin questions is this - after checking I pretty much have the choice of floors between 6th to 14th floor - aft, mid and forward. What would be the BEST to get? I am getting the feeling 8th floor seems to be most popular/best? 

I dont know if I should pay an extra 200 and get a bigger balcony, or get one of those that is a little bigger right on the hump area....?

So just book the floor and cabin and not worry about the side? 

Ok, NEXT our Symphony cruise will go to Roatan, Coasta Maya, Cozumel, Coco Cay, with these ports in mind, we will be the only ship in all of them except Cozumel. Which side will be best - port or starboard? 

Another question - like this cabin 7190 is considered a regular oceanview balcony room, but it looks like it has a little bigger balcony. Would that be correct? 

Is it true the reg balcony rooms bathrooms are a little bigger than Harmony? 

We decided not to go with the JS. It was a lot more when one finally showed avaliable for our dates. So reg ocean balcony vs large ocean balcony. On the reg ocean balcony I notice there are 2 diff ones available right at the hump where the balcony slants and looks a little bigger? All the large balconies are on the hump. 

Still deciding. We are trying to make a decision today. We are leaning most toward Symphony I suppose. Breakaway has the best price but seems the least appealing of the 3 I think? I love the Horizon ports the most and Havana rooms, however all they have are Havana Cabana and my wife is worried about the privacy with those little patios. Also we are having trouble coordinating flights with that one as well and work since it is an 8 day cruise.....decisions, decisions.

What floor levels would be best for symphony as far as cabins go?

Yeah I have seen it maybe 2 times ever. I contacted Uplift and they say that they are still partners with them but it never comes up as an option. It does however come up on certain TA as an option with the cruiselines, so I dunno. 

Cabin question here - well 2-3 actually 😂 this is all Symphony of the Seas related:

1. Is a junior suite worth the extra 500 over a large balcony cabin? 

2. Looking at large balcony cabins and all seem to be on what the call the "hump" that gives better views correct?

3. I have seen some balcony cabins available coming onto the "hump" area and appear to have a little bigger balcony but still under the regular balcony cabin category - is this possible?

I believe that is something else. Uplift is a financing company that does travel finance and it says Royal is available to use with them and that it should give you the option to pay using it at check out but never does. 

I had seen at some point there was uplift offered to pay for RC cruises and the rate was better than my CC. When I go to the RC site I can never get that option to pay that way now? Does anyone know? 

Something that is a bummer is that I am having a hard time finding a way to make the flights work with the better southern caribbean Horizon cruise due to me having a credit with a certain airline I am trying to use. Where this trip is an 8 day it would leave Saturday and come back a Sunday and that is proving to be difficult to contend with on the airline I am using. 

Hey Trainer - thanks. Did you think if we have been on Harmony 2 years ago that Symphony would be a little redundant? I see it has some diff restaurants we may like! We LOVED wonderland! 

Thanks for info. When I watch video tours of each ship Breakaway has the least wow to me, but probably the cheapest rooms of all 3. Symphony appears to be pretty much identical to Harmony that we have been on with a few restaurant changes. Horizon is totally diff than the Sunshine we were on it appears to me with more restaurants and stuff to do like Imax etc.
