I'm on the same cruise, but it doesn't look like the Azamazing Evening is posted yet.  I sorted the excursion from low-high.  The $0 Azamazing excursion isn't popping up.  I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it will be something off the ship.

Fingers crossed!   Look forward to seeing you onboard.

  2. We are booked on Onward April 29 from Rome to Venice (8days).  I've looked at all the listed shore excursions but don't see anything about the Azamazing Evening or a Destination Celebration.  What am I missing?

  3. We are sailing May 9th from Barcelona on the Infinity and, fingers crossed, this will all be history by then.

I understand that this virus is bad, but most healthy people will recover.   For those with compromised immune systems or elderly people they should absolutely stay home.  For the rest of us, we need to travel smart - keep our distance, wash hands, avoid contact, etc.  When we return we certainly plan to limit our movements for the first 2 weeks if necessary.  Even now I am not visiting my parents in their retirement home despite having no symptoms and low possibility of having contracted the virus.  Be smart - but we can't be afraid.

I’m sure all the cruise lines will follow. Princess is owned by Carnival so I expect Cunard, Costa, HAL and Carnival to be next since they are all part of that cruise family. Then there will be pressure on the Royal family, NCL, MSC, etc. to do the same. They are all likely scrambling to create their cancellation plans as we speak.

Maybe it's just me, but I wonder about Carnival Corp suspending Princess cruises for 60 days but none of their other brands.  It seems that it may be a financial decision (safer to cancel than sail a ship that is less than 50% booked) based on all the bad publicity.  If this is truly a safety precaution why not suspend all brands under their corporate umbrella?   hmm....

  5. We rented a device from CelloMobile in May for a 2 week, 7 country tour in Europe. It was fantastic. Charges it at night, tossed it in my bag during the day. Supported up.to 5 devices and had unlimited data. Perfect since we were travelling with my 19 year old niece. They do have a pkg that works at sea but it is very expensive. Land package was about $100 for 2 weeks.

  6. We just got back from 2 weeks in Europe and we rented a portable Wi-Fi device. It was awesome. Used Skype or what's app to make calls home to Canada. For 2 weeks, unlimited data, in multiple countries cost about $120 but you can connect up to 5 devices. We rented form CellOMobile
