I've never sailed from Ft. Lauderdale so need some advice regarding a hotel for less than $200, with free shuttle from airport to hotel and hotel to pier. An included breakfast would be nice too. Since I'm flying cross country I will arrive very late there (around 11:00 pm) so all I need is a nice king bed.
I understand there's more than one cruise pier. Is that correct? Want to make sure I have accessibility to a shuttle to the pier Princess uses.
Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions you can give me.

Thank you all for your suggestions. I found a transport service with very good reviews on Yelp. Made round-trip reservations. So I'm all set now. Gio

I will be visiting Loreto and La Paz for the first time and would like to find a tour guide or company to arrange possible activities in both. Would like to see both places and any not miss sites. Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

Looking for a tour company or guide in both Loreto and La Paz. Have never been to either and would like a good look around in both. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Thanks for all your suggestions. I've used Super Shuttle several times to and from airports, but didn't find anything on the website except airport transport. I'll check again. BART to Embarcadero or ferry to Ferry Bldg. might work. Thanks again. If I do book, I'll get there one way or another. lol

I'm thinking about booking a cruise departing from San Francisco next month. I'm hoping to find a way to get from the Hayward area under $100. BART is a possibility but I'm not sure what station in SF to get off, and then taxi from there to pier. Not easy with luggage and I usually do take more for a cruise than for other trips. Uber apparently doesn't service my town and Super Shuttle which I've used several times apparently only provides transport to and from airports. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I may be sailing with Princess again on 1/28/15. I will be traveling alone (I've recently become a widow) and need to find a hopefully inexpensive option to get from home to the ship. The only time I have used a taxi it was over $100. BART may be an option, but rather difficult with luggage (I usually take more on a cruise than when flying). Any suggestions will be appreciated.

I don't send many postcards, but take preaddressed labels with me for the friend or two I do send cards to. We've always taken the cards to the purser's desk, bought stamps and they take care of mailing them. Easy as that. Incidentally, our friends have always received the cards.
Can't help with Canadian coins, except to suggest you spend them in Victoria, B.C., one of our favorite cities! It was the last port on our Alaskan cruise and we liked it so much we returned for a week a couple of months later.

My first cruise was for our 25th Anniversary on the Sitmar Fairsea in March 1979 to the Mexican Riviera. Sitmar became part of Princess, thus the pizza on all ships and all the very handsome Italian officers. Even shot skeet on that cruise (the only woman participating) and hit more than the men. lol
