Randox self test Antigen LFT is accepted for boarding in Southampton. They are around £13 each as well so very good value.

I thought self tests weren't acceptable (and they have to be official lab tests)

  2. Zeebrugge.

Didnt even need to show passports, had printed plf, but no showing that either.

There is a free shuttle bus from ship to port gate (no walking allowed) and a shuttle bus to blankenberge, 16 euros. But tram is 5 euros return, stop is about 10 minutes walk, but the walks a bit industrial..

  3. Just on the Magnifica, and thought this would be helpful. Will fill in the rest throughout the week!

    Le Havre.

There is a shuttle bus between the terminal and centre, runs every 30 mins until 5pm. Takes about 20-25 mins, slightly expensive at 12 euros (can use it all day)

Getting off was easy, just flash your passport, didnt need vax certificate or sworn statement.

  4. Looking on the UK site, booking as a solo, I got about £100 a night for inside, and only a little more for balcony, The all inclusive was an extra 60 pounds. Even yacht club inside was less than £200 per night!

I'd have considered booking, if i wasn't already on a cruise then!

Still - better than nothing, eh??

    Oh, hang on!

  6. Just wondering, as it really doesn't leave much leeway for any delays in getting covid test results or travel delays.

For instance, on the Northern europe cruises from southampton - the cruise departs at 8pm on a tuesday, so the earliest you can get your test is 8pm on sunday.

Only no testing stations are open that late on sunday, so the earliest you can get it done would be monday morning (7 ish)

And if you've got an early check in (mines 11-12), that only gives a few extra hours if your test results are delayed, even If I got the 12 hour / same day test I'd be nervous..

  7. It's simple - If there's an R in the month, and you're boarding in a country beginning with a-m (except on sundays, if there's no "e" in the month, when it's a-k, and n-p, along with y), you need to have been boosted 9 months ago, otherwise if the day begins with "S" and your surname does not begin with a, p, r or t, you just need a second dose, Otherwise the pier staff will make up the rules...
