Thanks to those of you who answered my question! I really appreciate it.
:)

Thanks Bob!
You saved me some $$$. If you are ever sailing with us, we'll buy you a drink!:):):)

Can someone tell me if the portable, hand held clothing steamers are allowed onboard?
I'm talking about the little $30 one.
Thanks!

Sailing this week on Freedom of the Seas and had a few questions.
Do the Staterooms (we are in promenade) have magnified make up mirrors?
Are there hairdryers in the staterooms? Any improvement on the "hold the button down the whole time" dryers in the last few years?
Is there a Caribbean Night where men wear hawaiian shirts and women wear colorful caribbean clothing?
How many comedy shows were there? I was told by the PVP that Freedom had a comedy club....and I'm starting to think that may not be true...?
Thanks in advance....I'll probably be back in a few hours with even more questions! Sorry!

Hi All,
I'm wondering if RCCL (Freedom) is still serving O'Douls non alcoholic Beer.
I am also wondering if it is still included in the Royal Replenish Package?
Anyone know?
-
Where is the Cafe located?
Thanks!
-
Hi All,
Despite having cruised on RCCL many times, we have never done a specialty restaurant.
On our Freedom Cruise we have made a reservation. Can anyone tell me what the dress code is?
Thanks so much!

Hi All,
Would someone be willing to send me a copy of the flyer. I am going to fight this to the end! I have a copy, but it is not very clear.
My email address is lovesdopey120@aol.com
Thanks!

Where do you find the FTTF availability? Where do you buy them?
Thanks!
-
Can't wait to read more.....excited for August 20th sailing!!
-
Where did you hear/see that?
I called RCCL!
-
RCCL is now saying that the Explorer upgrades have been "rescheduled" for January 2015...
Very Interesting!
-
So? So she is posting it to update people of a new policy that RCCL is instituting. I didn't think it was that hard to understand, lol :p
Thank you Princess for defending my honor...LOL
I apologized earlier for missing the fact that some of you had already discussed this while I was sailing.
I also apologize to you, Fas64, for obviously upsetting you so much that you felt the need to be so nasty.

Does anyone know if the automatic gratuity will still be added to drinks as well. I hope so, because I don't think the $12 is enough. It is only 25 cents more than before.
-
Oh, sorry! I had not seen any of the posts!
We just sailed on Explorer a few weeks ago. Maybe I missed the discussion then.
I am glad that they are doing something. I was shocked at how empty the dining room was on the last night. I truly believe it was because some of the people were "ducking" the wait staff.
They work so hard to make our vacations wonderful. They deserve much more than the $12 per day!

Hi All,
I just received an email from RCCL stating that beginning on March 1, 2013, Tipping would be mandatory and that a charge of $12 per day would be automatically charged to your onboard account.
Here is the body of the message:
We look forward to welcoming you onboard for your upcoming Royal Caribbean International cruise vacation!
As you prepare to set sail, we wanted to notify you of a change to our gratuity policy. As of March 1, 2013, Royal Caribbean will add an automatic daily gratuity of $12.00 USD ($14.25 USD for Suite guests) to the onboard account of each guest to be shared by Dining Services Staff, Stateroom Attendants and Other Housekeeping Services Personnel that work to enhance your cruise. This gratuity replaces our previously recommended gratuity guidelines.
If you have already prepaid gratuities for your upcoming cruise, this policy change will not affect you. Accordingly, we will not apply the daily gratuity to your account while you are onboard. If you have not prepaid your gratuities, you will see the daily automatic gratuity applied to your onboard SeaPass® account during your upcoming cruise.

And if the show for your muster station is not convenient? I think that is a lousy system.
There are empty seats available. I am sure they would accomodate you if you arrived early/on time!
-
I believe they leave it open just in case something changes after that date - drydock?
She should just be getting the royal refit, not affecting stateroom layout (hopefully). Shouldn't be a difference. What are you looking for?
Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 2
I was on the February 17th sailing and was told by the Captain that the refit would include 109 new staterooms....mostly outside. The staterooms would be prefab and would just need to be installed and hooked up!

What do I get for 2 cruises?
A paper boat?
:D
No, I'm sorry...the pre-assembled paper boat is after 5 cruise credits.
For 2, you get a bar of ivory soap and you make your own boat!
....Couldn't resist...sorry!

Bob,
You are answering all my questions! Thank you!
