Thanks so much for the help! Also I did some research and heard that Abbott's is a good brand of GF breads in Australia. Supposedly tastes good without toasting even.

Yes to gluten free pasta dishes in dining room. Not in buffet or Alfredo’s...only pizza there.
Do you know if they can do Gluten free pizza at Alfredo's?

I am going on the Majestic princess out of Sydney in November as well and staying at the FS too! I was in Australia last summer and they were pretty gluten free friendly. I was surprised at how many places offered gluten free bread, rolls and GF options beyond salad. I have not been to Sydney and have been starting to investigate some options. Find me Gluten Free website and app have helped sometimes in the past when I've traveled. If you are on instagram, you can also try to search for gluten free in Sydney that way. I had great luck with that in other places. My last hope is that the concierge at FS will have some insights as well.
I'm still doing research on GF brands cause I can't remember the ones I tried last year. i'll try to let you know if I find any good options.
Have you been on Princess since being GF? Did they have a decent number of options?

Yes, go ahead and wear your long dresses. I tend to dress formally for formal night (shock horror 😲) and never feel out of place. Some women will be in ball gowns, others will be in black pants, it is quite a varied range.
Thanks so much! I'm with you any excuse to get dressed up.

Thank you! There were 1 Australian, 2 US and 2 European outlets in our Deluxe Balcony cabin. I can't remember exactly what was in the bathroom but I think it was a low voltage US outlet.
Congratulations on getting married and I hope you have a wonderful cruise and honeymoon! I will keep my fingers crossed that you have smooth seas, sunny skies and that you get into Milford Sound! 😊
This is beyond in credibly helpful thank you! and Thanks for the well wishes, fingers crossed the weather holds 🙂

Thanks for the great review! We are doing the same cruise, just backwards order of ports this November for our honeymoon and so excited! Reading your review just made me more excited all over again! 🙂 QQ are the outlets on the ship Australian or US outlets?

We are going on Majestic in November for our honeymoon, so I was wondering if ladies still wore long dresses on formal nights. I have a few that I'd love to have an excuse to wear again 🙂

My family started cruising on princess when I was about 12. As a teenager I always found fun things to do and the teen clubs were great. For us it depended more on the itinerary the shorter cruise or in the summer tended to have more kids our age. Even on a 12 night panama there were still a good amount of young people.

Not Jetstar. Either of the other two would be fine.
Agreed. Air New Zealand and Virgin are great options. Jetstar is the smaller economy airline very stripped down. I would also recommend calling Virgin, we just booked flights with them and they were actually cheaper when we called than when we tried to book online for the exact same flight.

Thanks for the post! I'm going on Navigator in July for my bachelorette trip and both my maid of honor and I have celiac. I'm so glad to hear that we will be able to eat more than just salad or plain grilled chicken!
Did you happen to find some good options for breakfast too?

I just saw this as an option on my upcoming cruise and it looks like a great deal.we are also wondering if anyone else had done this.

We are sailing Princess RT from Sydney Nov 2019 and I have been wondering the same thing. I kind of love the idea of just not having to worry about it. If anyone has opinions I'd love to hear.

Are there any sparkling wines (Ccampange, Prosecco) that are covered with the beverage package? Also are most cocktails covered (margaritas or rum punch type drinks)? I'm going on navigator this summer and trying to figure out if we should bring bubbly on with us.

Thanks all! So many options to consider!

are you tied to Princess? Check out Celebrity Solstice too. Our favorite ship.
We actually looked at that too, but our travel agent and a couple others have been recommending Princess over Celebrity. Do you usually stay in suite on celebrity?

My fiance and I are looking at booking a New Zealand cruise for our honeymoon this November 2019. Our 2 options are both Round trip out of Sydney one on the Majestic Princess and the other on the Ruby Princess can anyone recommend one over the other? The itinerary for the Ruby does have an extra stop in Napier that the Majestic does not, so we are wondering if that might also be worth it?
We are also trying to decide between a mini-suite and suite so would love some feedback on if the suite is worth cost vs. the mini-suite.
Thanks!

So the price can actually be less than what it shows online, if you purchase onboard? We are cruising next month and because the exchange rate is so good right now I was thinking of purchasing ahead of time.
