Own drinks are not allowed on board. At embarkation they are strict, will take it way, if it is a higher value drink they will put it in storage until disembarkation.
At ports they are more relaxed, they might close their eyes on non alcoholic drinks. Brace yourself 1 Liter of mineral water costs $6.25 on board. Once on board you can order them with room service.
If you also drink alcohol, you might consider drink package.

My last MSC cruise they didn't take my bottle of rum. I took it to cabin. Didn't drink it as I wanted it for home but it was not taken. I was shocked. They also let dad keep his small beer.

First MSC cruise in a couple weeks. (Divina) Are we allowed to bring drinking water on board, or can we pre-order to be delivered to the cabin?

What about wine or sodas, can we bring any with us?

No to all. I tried to pre order some water and our TA spent time on phone but they told him no. Very disappointing.

  3. Watching videos of TA and others on Seascape now. They mention a water package. Does anyone know anything about that? We don't drink sodas much or alcohol but do drink lots of water as I have a medical condition ( I don't drink tap and it's gotta be sodium free completely) so if anyone knows anything about it, I would appreciate it.

I only see very limited options too, and can't even book specialty dining... not sure if it's because it's a new ship, but options are quite limited before boarding.

The specialty dinning only shows up on ours for those outside the US so you got to contact msc or your TA for that (we sail in 16 days on Seascape)

    Hello Everyone,

I'm not new to cruising, however, I am new to MSC, our first cruise will be on the Seascape and we're very excited.  I have many questions.

How will I find out our boarding time?  We have no status at MSC so will it be late?

Is there seating inside if you are waiting to board?

Where/how do I get boarding tickets and all of that.  I have used a TA but I know you'll know more than he does *sigh*

On Seascape is there an adult only pool?

Must both of us cabin mates - when buying the drink package have to purchase the same package???  I drink, he doesn't.  I booked the least expensive drinks package for him, but I'm having a hard time booking the one that offers alcohol and I wonder if both of us must have the same package.

Certainly I'll have more questions, oh and one other thing, we don't have Aurea or YC, we are booked in a balcony.

    Thanks

Download MSC for me app. Put in your booking # and all your information will show up. CC isn't as active as Facebook. Lots of Seascape groups and they answer fast. You can also go to msc and log in (or sign up if you haven't) to see cruise info ad well. It will tell you boarding time and tickets when they become available and check in area for doing pre boarding stuff. Yes you have to book drink packages for everyone in the cabin if you want 1.

Maybe they merged the remaining cabins from Dec 18th into the 15-Night itinerary ?

7-Night Dec 11: Yacht Club $5,726 incl tax

15-Night Dec 11: Yacht Club $14,536 incl tax

15-Night itinerary has premium of over $3,000 for 1 additional night and Holiday.

or.. it’s just a glitch on the website.

It showed back up late yesterday so obviously a glitch. Super weird.

MSC USA website is up and running again.

2 itineraries listed for Seascape embarking on December 11th 2022 :

7-Night (Sun -to- Sun) Dec 11-18

15-Night (Sun -to- Mon) Dec 11-26

No 8-Night itinerary from Dec 18-26 listed.

Yeah I know. I'm still booked though. Checked my booking from site and app. Not sure why it's not showing under cruises. I would think they would just put sold out on it but whatever.

  8. I've been keeping up with our cruise and what is left available as some friends were thinking about booking and because I'm curious as to how full it will be (as its Christmas week kept expecting it to sale out but it didnt) anyways Fri I could do dummy booking on MSC and other TA sites but yesterday it shows unavailable and and is not even coming up under a search on MSC. Thought it was weird. Some on our cruise said yesterday they got notified their YC BIDS were successful. So my question is what happened? Did it all of sudden sale out in less than 24 hrs? Or a glitch on the site? Or maybe they stopped new bookings while they accept bids and shuffle ppl around? Anyone got any clues?

I was on the Seashore in September in an Aurea Balcony Suite (Deck 9 Aft) and these are the Aurea benefits:

*Separate dining room with anytime dining - no reservations needed nor are they available.

*FREE Thermal suite access for the entire cruise.

    *Access to the Aurea Sundeck

*Prosecco and chocolate (A small dark chocolate bar)

There were other benefits but there were the ones that stood out.

Don't Aurea guests get to order room service without the extra fee? I thought I saw that on there.

Anyways I always check what's available even after booking. This AM the only balconies available for 3 ppl or more was Aurea, Bella and Fantastica was sold out. I just checked and there's some back. Just curious as if anyone know if that means ppl canceled (it's after final payment as we are 30 days out) or maybe they accepted some bids and moved ppl? I also saw the Max bid moved up some. Those who actually get their bids accepted do you check and modify your bid when you see that?

I sail out on Nov 20th (4 days away) and submitted a bid to upgrade to YC yesterday. I plan to purchase a drink and spa package if I do not win the bid.
    1. Does anyone know when (or if) the website will stop selling packages in advance of the cruise?
    2. Will the cost of drink and spa packages increase if purchasing on the ship?
    3. Also, what is the latest date we could be notified of an upgrade?
    4. I only bid $5 over the lowest possible bid, should I bid higher?

It will tell you the strength of your bid but yeah lowest bid probably won't get it. Did you do a dummy booking to see if any of those cabins are available? Sometimes they let you bid on sold our cabins in case someone cancels last min, in which case you probably won't get it regardless.

The cruise is tomorrow and the pending charge on my CC finally dropped off .

Yeah sorry you didn't get it. We got 21 cabins in that Cat on our cruise and the new "black Friday sale" actually makes them a couple hundred more to buy upgrade outright. I would think with a brand new ship they would want to sail at full capacity but who knows what these cruise lines are 🤔

Black Friday sale now lie on US - no idea if the discounts are good, but you get onboard credit, free drinks and wifi. not sure what they'll offer UK market.

Not really. I was curious for the cruise we booked and this new "sale" for black Friday actually made it more than what we paid.
