  1. If you plan on booking tours with HAL, do it now as they fill up fast and are soon waitlisted.  We also just returned from the 30-day Japan & North Pacific Crossing and we were waitlisted for 3 tours and only got on 2.

  2. Hello,

We are on the July 30 - August 16th Voyage of the Vikings from Boston to Rotterdam on HAL's Zuiderdam.

Please let me know which of the following ports are tender ports:

    Bar Harbor Maine

    Sydney Nova Scotia

    Corner Brook Newfoundland

    Red Bay Labrador

    Paamiut Greenland

    Qaqortoq Greenland

    Isafjordur Iceland

    Akureyri Iceland

    Bergen Norway

    Thanks for your help.

  3. We were also very disappointed not to receive our Cruise Log at the end of our Amsterdam cruise to Alaska. DH went to the front desk and asked the room stewards about it. Of course they knew nothing. But we did express our displeasure in our email survey. I'm good with a pdf version too!!!

  4. You did well, but I'm pretty sure we've got you beat. After 9 days in Barcelona, we boarded the ship and here's what we managed to squeeze in the blue cloth bag (by rolling so tight they squeeked):

    2 pr jeans

    2 long sleeve shirts

    9 polo / t shirts

    11 pr underwear

    9 pr socks

    1 pr pajamas

for a grand total of 44 pieces.

    Smooth Sailing! :) :) :)

Good for you. I managed to stuff 34 pieces and thought I had done really well. As someone else said, I also rolled everything. Great deal.

  5. I love fresh veggies but abhor cooked ones. So on our last cruise I asked for a half steak & potatoes but no cooked veggies, I would have a salad for an appetizer. Worked perfectly. Also, neither the staff or my table mates were asking me what was wrong with the veggies or why aren't you eating your vegetables.
