I used NCL airfare and we are staying at Barcelona Hilton which is the hotel they use but also was my hotel of choice so it worked out.

I will be on the Epic June 12, 2022 and June just can't get here quick enough!

NCL is Freestyle cruising so it's your choice rather you dress or not. I know that sometimes they have a white night, I think I was on POA when the did that.
-
I like dressing for dinner so I bring and wear what I want.

It didn't take me that long but I'll probably continue to use mobile pass which is an app, last couple times it got me through faster than the people using global entry (look for Mobile Passport by Airside) in the app store. Check to see if you can use it at your airport/state. NYC JFK is where I've used it twice.

90 days, I'm patiently waiting.🙂

I used to used the vacuum bags but I like the ones you use the vacuum and returning the ship vacuum doesn't have a hose. After seeing my cousin use the cubes I ordered the ones below and I love these. They come in different colors as well.

When I put my papers in it was for 30 days and the very next day I re-did my paperwork effective on the same day. So I guess there was no count for me. That was 10 years ago. No regrets

Spoke with a rep from MSC earlier today she stated that the Cuba destination has been canceled and will be replaced with another destination but they don’t know which destination yet.
According to the news all ships have canceled the Cuba destination.
Not happy, I really wanted to go to Cuba.

I would definitely go somewhere on Queen Mary 2. I'll have to find one no longer then 12 days because I just don't think I could be on a ship any longer then that.

My first cruise was back in the mid eighties on Dolphin Cruise Line, on the Dolphin IV. What ever happened to this cruise line and ship, does anyone know? If I remember, weren't they bought out by someone? Thanks for any help you may give!
My first cruise was also on Dolphin Cruise Line back in the 90's. I was actually looking for information on it when I came across this post.

Oh yeah, I have ATT for mobile service, and apparently it will be very expensive to use. I mistakenly left my cellular data on, and got a text from ATT saying data is $2.00mb, phone is $3.00 a minute, texting was .50 per and $1.50 per on photo/video texts
Other news, we already got our disembark info, and as Aurea, we are “Black” luggage tags and off at 7:45am
Here’s the disembark timelines.
I also have AT&T and when we were in Israel they had a plan where you would just pay $10 per day if you used your phone. You had to request it before you leave if you didn't have this added for your trip then of you turned your phone on you would get the text that you received.

Thank you for all your post and pictures, we are going August 19th.
Hope you enjoyed.

We in the Bronx still refer to Manhattan as "The City". In most cases when you hear someone say Manhattan they are from out of state or country.

We just booked the large balcony on POA for January 2020. I usually book ocean-view this will be my first balcony. I must admit i'm a bit excited. We will be on the 7th. floor according to the NCL Rep near the stairwell and elevator. I looked online and see that our cabin is an adjoining cabin, I'm not sure how I feel about that.

Relaxing and meeting people from all over, learning about other cultures.

I was able to get my booking number from MSC customer service.

We had a wonderful time on Armonia (as, I believe, you've already read about 😉) I was expecting more Americans/Canadians onboard than there were; it was still very much a case of pre-dominantly Europeans.
That's interesting, I would have been expecting the same.

There is practically no demand for food after 11pm as most Europeans eat late. As Europeans make up the majority of passengers, that's the demographic that MSC mainly caters to - especially on Med itineraries.
So I've learned. LOL
My next cruise with them will be August to Cuba. Looking forward to it.

I am about to do my second cruise with MSC. The first one was 2011 we did the Mediterranean. We cruised on the Musica which was and still is the most elegant ship I have even been on as far as looks. The staff was friendly and attentive. Food wasn't available all/most of the night like Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, or Carnival. Meaning you couldn't find something to eat after say 11:00 pm other than some very dried up pizza. That's really my only complaint.
Our itinerary was originally for Egypt, Greece, and Turkey but there was an uprising in Egypt so we were rerouted to Croatia, loved it! Still haven't made it to Egypt.

Yes this ship looks like a lot of fun. This will be my first time on Epic but I've been on Pride of America twice.
