I'm going on that sailing too!  I haven't been on Epic before but the least of my worries is the weird bathroom set up.  Looks like it will be a fun time

Yes this ship looks like a lot of fun. This will be my first time on Epic but I've been on Pride of America twice.

  2. Spoke with a rep from MSC earlier today she stated that the Cuba destination has been canceled and will be replaced with another destination but they don’t know which destination yet.

According to the news all ships have canceled the Cuba destination.

Not happy, I really wanted to go to Cuba.

My first cruise was back in the mid eighties on Dolphin Cruise Line, on the Dolphin IV. What ever happened to this cruise line and ship, does anyone know? If I remember, weren't they bought out by someone? Thanks for any help you may give!

My first cruise was also on Dolphin Cruise Line back in the 90's. I was actually looking for information on it when I came across this post.

Oh yeah, I have ATT for mobile service, and apparently it will be very expensive to use. I mistakenly left my cellular data on, and got a text from ATT saying data is $2.00mb, phone is $3.00 a minute, texting was .50 per and $1.50 per on photo/video texts

Other news, we already got our disembark info, and as Aurea, we are “Black” luggage tags and off at 7:45am

    Here’s the disembark timelines.

I also have AT&T and when we were in Israel they had a plan where you would just pay $10 per day if you used your phone. You had to request it before you leave if you didn't have this added for your trip then of you turned your phone on you would get the text that you received.

  6. We just booked the large balcony on POA for January 2020. I usually book ocean-view this will be my first balcony. I must admit i'm a bit excited. We will be on the 7th. floor according to the NCL Rep near the stairwell and elevator. I looked online and see that our cabin is an adjoining cabin, I'm not sure how I feel about that.

We had a wonderful time on Armonia (as, I believe, you've already read about  😉)  I was expecting more Americans/Canadians onboard than there were;  it was still very much a case of pre-dominantly Europeans.

That's interesting, I would have been expecting the same.

There is practically no demand for food after 11pm as most Europeans eat late.  As Europeans make up the majority of passengers, that's the demographic that MSC mainly caters to - especially on Med itineraries.

    So I've learned. LOL

My next cruise with them will be August to Cuba. Looking forward to it.

  9. I am about to do my second cruise with MSC. The first one was 2011 we did the Mediterranean. We cruised on the Musica which was and still is the most elegant ship I have even been on as far as looks. The staff was friendly and attentive. Food wasn't available all/most of the night like Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, or Carnival. Meaning you couldn't find something to eat after say 11:00 pm other than some very dried up pizza. That's really my only complaint.

Our itinerary was originally for Egypt, Greece, and Turkey but there was an uprising in Egypt so we were rerouted to Croatia, loved it! Still haven't made it to Egypt.
