I have been in both 6147 and 6148. Take pictures, or even better, do a video. I did one about a year ago, here is the link:

I feel like I'm seeing  a nice space but needing a little makeover with modern more wild style - NEW SUMMIT I LOVE IT! Next time, I'm going to try and go with one of the older ships. Thanks for sharing.

We sailed the Edge in late Feb and absolutely no “show” spilled out of Eden. As a matter of fact, we hardly experienced the performers at all during the dinner at Eden.

That space, though, is incredible. We loved it.

I'm so glad more people have an open mind since Dec. On the ship we enjoyed the dinner show twice.  Just more of an adult area at night and relaxing space on the cruise during the day. Hopefully that will clear up how things have improved and help.

To be perfectly honest -- I don't think that the record needs to be set straight. It was made by people who were THERE.😏

Every state room passenger THERE since then has had a normal experience as there have been many sailings since these holiday times, so people get to hear about OUR overall experience TOO.

I don't think the Edge ever goes out much less than fully sold out despite the naysayers but it definitely seems less crowded in Eden over the Martini Bar!

What sailing of the Edge were you on?  I don't think anyone saw any  on the sailing I was on. Please post some pics from your veranda- I'm sure you took some of the whales and dolphins. I know I would have.

If we had a longer cruise than 7 nights, I would totally have taken more photos! It was just so short and there was so much we wanted to enjoy and my phone has a low battery. We could have got a new phone that didn't need to be on the charger but we were like you know what? We paid for all this greatness and we had a gorgeous suite so let's just stay I everything in the moment!

I can’t believe you didn’t see any. Next time??

Hmmm.... nobody has even posted on this thread in nearly three months -- except for you.😕

    Seriously?

I was annoyed when I went back that no one had set the record straight. I really want people to be interested to try and not just one of the smaller ships!

Whenever we've sailed in RS we've had complimentary unlimited specialty dining.

I just found that out and my friend was so mad we didn’t have that! Although to be fair we really didn’t NEED any more treats.

Celebrity only initiated the Zenith program in late 2013. Royal had a Pinnacle level MANY years before.

There are MANY passengers turning Zenith currently. Two on the current Eclipse cruise and two the previous cruise.

Not crazy at all! Super fun that X made this level too!!

Hey Bee, we've missed you for the last few days.  Some thought you were exterminated.

I will pass along some advice at least others will appreciate! Yeah people getting more and more comfortable using the pool as their personal toilet isn't right . There were a few times we smelled something but it was VERY FEW and I was impressed by that compared to what you read here. STOP peeing and the pool and flush quickly and that will SOLVE the problem!!

    You are so welcome.

Thanks..all good here.  Back to NY  for awhile.  I will be blocking Eden fan , as well if I can. Hope Vt enjoys her cruise  this week ...that's the flower power I believe

    As to the smell:

I am following a live review from Equinox.   Poster  has an SV & she said the bad smell and green  liquid  is there  ..waiting for updates!. Wonder why this  is happening?

Anyone have a new EDGE update?

I’m having so much fun reliving it and new reviews say people are doing better!!  We ended up in Eden two more times after wet got on the ship and loved it there. Hidden gem for sure!

What X ships have you cruised on to date?

Why do you love X so much?

    Just curious...

hcat, seriously, our first cruise was on EDGE!! I remember just feeling exhausted with everything and by the time we really slowed down in EDEN it was WONDERFUL!! I really enjoy doing it so it makes me super happy that I could give you a little escape from this awful winter!

Yup. Oh i was definitely falling in love with the food there at the end...but it was such a great ship overall, too!!😍😍😍

Celebrity is promoting "Sail With the CEO."  I think the marketing department is out of touch with the existing customer base. Many look at the leadership of the current CEO LLP as the beginning of the downward slide and resent her for the cuts and changes to a cruise line they've loved and been loyal to for many years. I hope the current head of the Captains Club has a better grip on pulse of her base. DH and I now shop many other cruise lines before booking to compare value received. We didn't in the past.

She is doing her best to make these trips worth the passengers vacation and the crew's living! And the ships have held up really well with the new look despite getting TONS of naysayers around here! Cannot wait for to prove them WRONG!

You'd do much better, dollar wise, by sticking with your loyalty points and using one cruise line. It's not a good use of points to start over from scratch. Sorry, should have said IN MY OPINION.

Kids Club/Camp at Sea:  I just wanted to note my error in the age brackets.  Shipmates (3-5), Cadets (6-9), and captain (10-12).

She’s having a blast and every time we peek in the counselors are extremely engaged.  We haven’t seen the new STEM activities, but we’re not really auditing the programs.  If the DD is happy, we’re happy.  She either wants to be at Camp at Sea or in the Retreat pool with her friends.

They seem to have a cleaning person stationed at the Camp at Sea and she is always cleaning.  Very impressed.

I think a lot of people shy away from Edge if they're traveling with children, but we found it to be PERFECT for some families on our trip!

Yes, it's amazing what those CAS members and performers will do for you!

  13. It's the only cruise line I've ever sailed on and I've been told the same things about tables on the older ships. The good news is, it is actually quite easy to avoid by eating in Luminae once you get the swing of the ship! I'll be doing breakfast there the whole time next just on that because it took us a couple days to figure it out and we ended up in the buffet.

A refreshing Edge review - well done 👍. Perhaps your butler has got lost in Eden 🤣?

Let’s not talk about how many times I’ve watched people complain about Eden but It was so cozy and comfortable I'm not surprised the crew go there to unwind!

I just unpacked without the butler and honestly not much went unused! 2 pairs of shorts and one bathing suit!

Some people just need to stay in character, as if they are performing in the Eden.

I would avoid Norway as it’s still feels like winter season lately😍. Definitely in March can be a little cool but in the Bahamas will still be in the 70’s and closer by FL.  I’m hoping they get it all fixed sooner rather than later!!

And as far as I'm know nobody handles that kind of thing better than EDGE!! And yes go on the cruise and see!!

  16. I'm so glad the passengers are safe, most important!!

I'm so glad people learn that any ship can have problems, not just EDGE. Tune in and ask how this could happen on a cruise line introduced as better and they'll just say that! And it goes really fast to Norway and really nobody is paying attention to anybody else until it needs help? I promise you won't be booking Viking Ocean! We saw a lot of people on EDGE happy and ready for a do-over!!

    I hope this helps!!

Agree with Vt Cruiser..there are definite EDGE haters out there who seem to want it to fail. There are also enthusiatic Edge cheerleaders too...esp the EDEN supporters.. who may be relatives or friends.

I refrained!! But yes the EDEN characters were very interactive and cute!! I was very impressed with it both the show and the daytime as  well. I was able to unpack everything and put the suitcases away so our room stayed mostly neat and tidy the entire time with no weird smells!
