  1. I know this is not wine but do not know where else to ask. Does anyone have a list of the cognacs? We will have the premier beverage page when we go to Norway and Iceland and I would like to compare a few before we go.

  2. I was on the 4-4 sailing on the Sky and took my choice of option one, called at 4:00 pm Thursday afternoon did not have any wait time and rebooked for 11-28 on the Enchanted. Stewart that helped me said that Princess cancels the EZ-Air and then he rebooked my flights for even less money. I received an email about the canceled flights before I even hung up the phone. So when you call just double check with the person helping you.

We have a March 29th cruise to the Eastern Caribbean and we are still going!!  We have been on many cruises and have never been sick!  I'm a nurse and I wash my hands all the time, out of habit.  If you think about it, the cruise lines are doing much more cleaning/disinfecting on their ships than usual and taking many more precautions - those ships are sparkling! - as these ships are their "moneymakers" and they do not want any outbreaks or negative reports on their ships.  Also, lots can happen in 4 weeks - with the end of flu season coming up, I'm hoping all the viruses will begin to calm down.  There are many other "bugs" to worry about on cruise ships, namely the norovirus, which is very contagious and not fun.  I also think that the media has everyone in panic mode about the coronavirus - the flu kills many more people every year than the coronavirus has (so far, NONE in the U.S.).  Yes, if you are immune compromised, you should be careful not only with the coronavirus outbreak but with ANY viruses or diseases which you can catch at the grocery store, pumping gas and on cruise ships!  Just wash your hands a lot and don't pick your nose!!

AMEN! So happy to see a professional say what I have been saying to people all along. Thank you for the honest opinion.

I used to keep cruise card on a lanyard but the increased weight of the medallion made a lanyard uncomfortable on our Regal cruise so my husband offered to carry it in his pocket since we are usually together or I just left it in the cabin.  Later I realized that would show that I went in a lot of men's rooms if they were tracking where I went. Giggle.

Thank you so much for the best laugh I have had all week. But you have made me think about something that never crossed my mind.

I have a shellfish allergy, so it looks like a no-go for me on this!!

I agree I have a shellfish and pepper allergy. It is very difficult to find some place special to eat because of the pepper allergy. What makes it worse is that it is all peppers not just the hot and spicy ones.

  6. Did this in 2016 we loved it. Did the land first and actually had a bear walk up to a vehicle and get up on his hind legs in Denali. Was a great photo as well as the rest of the trip. We went up early and flew into Barrow, got the ultimate best pictures of Mt. Denali, 36,000 feet in the air. The top was above the clouds  actually put the picture on canvas when we got home.

Enjoyed every bit of the three weeks even if we only had two days of sunshine, the rest was all rain. But the rain did cut down on foot traffic which meant easier sightseeing. Would do it again without even thinking twice.

  7. We actually stayed the night at Pikes Waterfront lodge and the lobby was spectacular, had many stuffed animals from the area, the room was just as nice. Had dinner at Pikes Landing and the Salmon was excellent we would eat there again.

I all ways tip our head waiter.  I get a lot of help from him because I have a shell fish allergy.  Some times it is hidden in the way the food is made, ex sauces made from it.

We had lots of great head waiters.  On one of my Regal cruises I ask Adrain  (head waiter) about what night should we pick to go to the specialty restaurant (so that we did not go on formal night).  My DH and I pick out the night.  Adrain ask what time we wanted.  He came back later at dinner and said he made our reservation and told them all about my allergy and they would be on top of it.  Great service.  All of them have been wonderful to me.

And yes, we do tip them with cash and also write out a card for them.  I have even E-mail Princess and told them how great they were.

I have a very serious allergy to shellfish and all kinds of peppers, we had Adrain on the Island Princess and he was absolutely wonderful. People do not realize how just about everything made has pepper in it, but I never had to worry about this because of Adrain. I also contacted Princess after we got home to inform them of his and the rest of the staffs wonderful service.

  9. Good morning all! This will be my first trip to the Caribbean I am so excited to be going in April 2020 with my sister, do they have the water issues that I always hear about in Mexico? I already have a refillable bottle to take with me but I need to be prepared when we eat lunch or dinner in port. I drink water 90% of the time and do not want to get sick.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.
