Good morning. We’re going on the UAE cruise over Christmas on Jewel of the Seas and have been advised that we can pay our gratuities/tips at the end of the cruise in envelopes left in our cabin. We apparently have to tell the concierge when we board that that’s what we intend to do. Is this correct?  Apologies if this has already been covered and I’ve missed it.

Hello, I’ve found your post after searching tea! This is our first ever cruise and as I’m not a drinker, I assumed there would be some sort of package for tea and/or water drinkers only? I’m also a decaf tea drinker so should I just take my own tea bags?  I can only find the package that talks about juice etc at breakfast. Is that not included in the breakfast anyway? I wonder if I’m looking in the right place or their website. Any ideas? 

Hello everybody. We’re going on the Jewel of the Seas cruise over Christmas around Dubai, Oman etc and as it’s our first cruise, I have no idea what we should take. We have a 10 year old so wondering if we would go to a formal night or indeed if we need formal clothes at all. On Christmas Day it would be nice to dress up a bit but how much? Is it smart casual for dining in the evenings? Any help would be appreciated, thank you.
